I’m interested into becoming a deacon. I’m in my late 30’s, I’ve been baptized, made my first communion, and am confirmed in the Roman Catholic Church. My only question is because my wife is not Catholic nor did we get married through the Catholic Church, does that prevent me from becoming a deacon?
