Did you ever think that the money they make from KZfaq pays for the goods they give away to the contestants? So, it's a good thing all around. No one is forcing them to play. It's just a nice way to get some extra goods for their household. I'm sure most of them have a hard scrabble life. This is a good and different thing to do for the day and they can benefit from it.
