Being a typical Karachiite and belonging to a Shia family, I can easily say that Hafiz Naeem sahib is truly a son of Karachi... He stood for each and every cause of Karachi... I wish, he becomes the mayor of Karachi... I never voted for him but I intend to rectify my mistake... May Allah bless him, Ameen....

Its really mesmerising too see that we have such politicians who has knows each and every problem with core and possible solutions. But on the same time its sad to realise that people of karachi has elected Amir Liaqat and Faisal waoda instead of him. Muzzamil you did a splendid job by conducting this session on the topic, pointed out real issues, responsibles and solutions. We need such discussion in our country. We need such anchors and we need such politicians.

So far Jamaat e Islami is the only political party in Pakistan that has honest, highly educated, and highly competent leadership with a corruption-free record from bottom to top, their gov't records in KPK and Karachi prove it. And also it is the only true democratic party that is free from dynastic politics in the whole country. I wish the Pakistani electorate had given this party a chance, but inshaAllah I believe they're coming to power someday and will bring a true change.

The biggest achievement of Hafiz sb is that he does his job in corporate sector still giving his all to Karachi rights and the most active politician of karachi..hats off.. he is symbol he is example..he is role model for everyone in Pakistan.. middle class can rule this country only if more leaders like Hafiz Naeem emerge on lime light politics. I have no met Mr.Naeem but I did meet Muhammad Hussain Mehanti at khudadad colony at a iftar daawat. Believe me he came in his cultus (no fancy expensive car like any other politician), without any security/protocol. My father is also a member of Jamaat, he's been working for Al-Khidmat since the age of 14, so I have been close to this party, and from my personal experience I can say that people of Jamaat-e-Islami are loyal and have a simple lifestyle. In my opinion only one man worked hard for developing Karachi and that person is Naimatullah Khan.

Karachiites live worse than Palestine. Even Palestinians have rights and have common law. 1. (No LAWS) In Karachi you walk with fear of safety of yourself from robber and your family members being harassed by feudals. 2. (No Infrastructure) There is no infrastructure and there are no street lights. It's gloomy as the state has failed. 3. (Second Class Citizens - No political freedom) In Palestine you can have your own political parties but in Pakistan if you raise the voice for your rights then you are either classed as traitor or become a missing person cause you are a Muhajir and you can ho no political representation as your not a Punjabi or Pathan but a Muhajir an outsider. Just like Palestinians but worse.

You compare this with the conversations seen on mainstream news channels, you see what hollow HD Bullshit we have as broadcast news, generally speaking. Thank you for giving a platform, I am impressed by and more curious about Hafiz Naeem's thought leadership and Jamaat-e-islami's manifesto for Karachi.

I listened to the entire podcast. This is the longest podcast I have listened to but it was eye opening. The different levels of corruption, ineptitude present that is destroying my beloved Karachi and the amount of effort people are putting in to circumvent these unfortunate circumstances and to fight for our rights is incredible. Thank you very much for this podcast and for recognizing that Hafiz Naeem is a person capable of explaining Karachi to us.

we (karachites) have tried everyone, why not try these guys next time? We have seen them doing efforts for several public issues, without having any electoral stakes, they are seemingly honest, and sincere, they are always on ground. Naimatullah Khan succeeded in getting an amount of Rs. 2900 Million for reconstruction of Karachi, city council approved various projects such as 18 flyovers over major roads, six underpasses, two signal-free roads and a huge water supply scheme for the people of Karachi. It was for the first time in the history of Karachi that all the stake holders in Karachi were incorporated for the developmental work in Karachi. What an interview. I am amazed by the knowledge He had, we Karachi people has to support him. I think it's a good choice for us as He says and we also know that without having as much political stake compareable to other parties they had done a lot, so if they get into the power it will be benefical for Karachities.
