I was raised baptist but later followed friends and Family to become Christian, I was baptized too, trying hard to feel what everyone around me was feeling was a challenge, simply because it didn’t resonate at all with me and I refused to fake those feelings. When I use stare deeply at the “white Jesus” Portrait/painting on the wall at church or in my relatives homes, every fiber of my being knew that image was wrong. Since I was a child, I couldn’t shake this feeling that religion was not it for me. I watched my people believe without question. But none of it was resonating with me. Once I discovered spirituality, my whole world opened up, only then everything made sense. The more I learned how connecting with the earth, sun, oceans, the universe, my creator and my ancestors, the more in tune I was with life and spirituality. Now I feel wise and empowered that when I pray I am heard. It’s change my life forever. Now I am content and feel at home with worshiping this way, just like my ancestors. This resonates 100% with me.

I was privileged to visit Ghana and noticed that everything Ghana people do and say it is "we" and "us" as opposed to "me and "I" and when I greeted an elder in the best way I thought appropriate, he said nothing but went away and on his return, he handed me a glass of water. and bid me to drink. afterwards he greeted me in reponse to my earlier greeting. When I sheepishly asked why he had delayed and brought the water. He smiled and replied "water is Life and we are all part of it and everything in this universe." This was an epiphany moment for me because it was a simple explanation and an answer with unequalled clarity to my questions. (Thank you Elder Kofi.) So we need to let go of religion that was never ever any part of who and what we truly are. Peace, Love and Guidance.

I enjoyed listening to this video. The information was presented in a very palatable manner. I immediately shared it with two of my closest people. I explored the website, and I am interested in making the next step in becoming a student in the coaching and mentoring program. Thank you for your insight in sharing this information. I'm a former Christian Pastor of 30+ years. In my studies, I came to realize the fallacy of the Christian doctrines and dogmas. Eventually, I would break away from following traditional Christianity, and I have since embarked upon a journey of reconnecting with my "divine" self. I still get strange stares when people that know me ask, "So, what do you believe now?" and I respond with, "I do not subscribe to any traditional religion of any persuasion; I'm on a path of renewed spirituality!"

Like Somalians are following Islam and rest of the Africa and other african communities are follwing Christianity which were given to them forcefully by their oppressors. A descendant of Xhosa and Zulu of whom prior Christianity both worshipped uQamata and uMzelinqangi respectively I am proud to note that I identify with the description of Ka as being the essence of we are (or soul) particularly given that Africans had no surnames, for example the great Zulu warrior-king Shaka was sired by Senzangakhona therefore to fully recognise him he would be addressed as Shaka Ka Senzangakhona meaning Shaka of Senzangakhona... from this notion one can easily trace back the abstract concept of 'Ka' that Africans indeed understood that something greater than themselves had a hand in their existence and that is why such knowledge can not be taught (religion) but self-discovered (spirituality)... thank you for this wonderful eye-opening video ❤

Thank you I've been searching for answers lately because I've come to a realization that something is not right the whole Christianity story it just doesn't add up but then I remembered sometime in school about 10years ago I learned that Christianity was thought to slaves by slave owners I remembered my teacher saying something about the slave masters fearing the slaves because of their spiritual practices so my hypothesis is that they thought us there religion because of that fear they brainwashed our ancestres who then brainwashed us and the cycle continues . All the story I've heard about in the bible some things seemed fictitious so made me question its reality I'm a Jamaican growing up I hear people speak of ghost/duppy and obeah/voodoo, now this is the 21st century I can't just accept that but the stories I've sound pretty convincing so I went to KZfaq did some research and I've stumbled across some freaky stuff which lead my belief system a little more towards spirituality I still have not accept it fully but after watching this video which my curiosity led me to I'm a little more comfortable even thou its also brain wash I accept this what you have said because it makes sense so thumbs up for this one

I am white and was raised up to be a strict Roman Catholic. Thanks for this information. I haven’t listened as of yet to your study and findings but I have always felt religion was confiding. Being obedient to authority and religious doctrines to me is not freedom. What is real to me is that we intuitively know what is real. We know we are real as well as our surroundings. Our Earth, planet, galaxies and cosmos is also real as well as all inclusive and reflective of our thoughts, and acts. We all must heal and shed all control programming, religious falsehoods and paradigms that are false and demeaning to our psyche. We are spiritual souls, and we are unilaterally equal as one. The most important quality of ours is love, inner beauty, natural innocence, uplifting compassionate understanding, forgiveness, the truth and the way. Trust your inner souls truth that we all are born good, pure and innocent. This is our peace and restoration. Fear, control and loss awareness breaks us free of all corruption. ETA🌹

I myself have rejected religion, but one of the hardest parts of doing so has been the lack of fellowship with like minded people. I believe that is why its hard for so many to come out of religion because the church does provide a place for much needed fellowship, connection, positive influence and activities for children, and consistent routine to follow and be a part of. I still have yet to find a spiritual center or replacement for the church for myself and child and even though I don’t necessarily believe in the teachings anymore, I find myself going back because we miss the love and fellowship.

we believed in the Ori. I think one proverbs goes Ori la n sin ka to sin orisha. Like now the new wave of Africans returning to Isese are concerned about being omo pain and co, but aligning with ones Ori is the Koko. To help us do so, we have divination systems like ifa or eerindinlogun. These systems can tell people their taboos (things that go against your Ori or your egbe etc) your strength, what's to come potentially etc. There's a host of information, albeit some better than others on, Isese. Lemme tell you in this book I have, it stated one of the Christian missionaries(converted Yoruba boy) told the other converted individuals that they were wrong for condemning the ways of their forefather, upon getting to understand what ifa about. The shit is deep. I agree we have to leave a Christianity and Islam. It's not our interpretation and it's caused us more harm than Good in the country that's Nigeria.

Sometimes I wonder how majority of our people don't think for themselves when it comes to this religion that they are behold to? Our people has betrayed their true God's and take on this white man God. They are even trying to look like the white man they are worshipping. This needs to stop. Our people are passing on this white man religion and the Arab religion on to the next generation. Some of us don't even want to use the language that was given to them by the Gods. English is what our people are locked into. Ashamed of their own language while the white man will not accept African languages.we are like fools and traitors to our true God's.

Kaapkoros was the name for a hilltop set aside for worship by the Kalenjin. Kaapkoros was the Kipsigis term for it and derived from kaap meaning "the place of" and koros meaning "gift". Koros is also the indefinite form of korosyot, a bush which is a mild plant and gives off a pleasant odour when burned. When the Kalenjin or the various sections would settle at a place, one hilltop would be set aside for worship.

@@Changes81 Your question is a simple one yet many layers of complexity would have to go into answering it. Way more than you would want to read in this medium. I will touch on a couple that are obvious. 1. This knowledge was not meant for the masses. Therefore all Africans were not aware of it to the level that I am expressing much of it now. It was meant for those entering into the priesthood for the Egyptian mystery systems. 2. Although the knowledge was not spread to the masses there was a philosophy developed over thousands of years that were a part of a culture that was peaceful and had no major wars. Unlike Europe that fought and developed weapons of destruction over thousands of years because of their fight wars. When The Greeks and then the Romans came to possess this knowledge their armies conquered the people first physically, then mentally. The sword and fear taught people to change their minds and their heart. Over time The Roman ideas that became religion won out because they murdered anyone that did not toe the party line. 3. They killed all the priest that could read the medu-netchr (hieroglyphs). There was no one that could read or interpret the medu_netchr untill 1799. They were Europeans. By this time the racism and White supremacy system was in full swing to discredit Africans and insure that white Jesus was the savior of the world. 4. White Jesus is particularly insidious as he makes white people God for anyone that believes it. For any person of color that accepts Jesus then there is no need for an army to subdue them. For the African diaspora white Jesus has not saved them. He has imprisoned them within the system of White supremacy. There is much more to this. But I only touch on a few ideas that can answer your simple question with many complex components.

@@Changes81 I am truly attempting to be diplomatic right now. Who am I? I am a person that asks many questions. I take the time to research and find answers. Here is my about page khemeticcenteredliving.com/fact-checking-christianity/ not that I have anything to prove to you about me. My research and its accuracy speaks for itself (if you take the time to research for yourself). You can research me, but what is the point? Disprove what I teach. So true, am African(Kenyan)and there are still tribes like maasai that still pray to Nkai, the super natural being above that we can't see,the spiritual leader when praying the rest who are with him will keep on chanting Nkai Nkai Nkai to the end of prayers. They don't ascribe to neither Christianity nor Islam for those who follow this spiritual way of life. Before the advent of white men in Kenya, the Kikuyu, most dominant tribe could pray to the creator facing mount Kenya, the biggest mountain in Kenya, for they believed at times it was a dwelling place of Ngai, the creator.
