This speech was a masterpiece, indeed! Rodrigo's body language, voice modulation, presentation, confidence were all apt and on point! Loved it! The element of humor added something more to the speech! Hope to present something perfect like this one day!

Sri Lanka. She represented Sri Lanka in Toastmasters International World Championship of Public Speaking 2016. Two years before to this performance, another Sri Lanka won the World Championship 2014 becoming the very first Asian to win this magnificent title. His name was Dananjaya Hettiarachchi. Another Sri Lankan made it to the finals in a later year. :)

drama? this speech was PERFECT, absolutely Perfect! That's exactly how a good speech with excellent body language, humour and content sounds like! Try listening to more Toastmasters' winning speeches, they all follow the same tactics and style of presentation!

Y’all so busy in starting a fight about racism that didn’t bother to see that i was actually complimenting her. What’s the problem of saying that someone sounds like a “white, yellow, black”!? Not being racist it’s not pretending there are no races, it’s acknowledging the beauty that it’s race has. Without the video I could say it was a black american women delivering an amazing speech. If you listen to Trevor Noah without video, he doesn’t sound “black”, he has a sort of British accent. There’s nothing wrong with acknowledging differences. Let’s not divert from the real purpose here, that is to glorify this amazing speaker that took time to prepare this great speech.

Disappointed? really? If you think you can do better than that, let me see u get ur butt out there and give a speech like that, heck, your speech would never be as apt as that, that speech is a masterpiece and don't u dare try insulting something like that.
@svsgbs3 жыл бұрын
She speaks way better than I ever can.. But isn't she overacting too much? I don't understand how everyone here is so mermerized.. 🤦♂️
@fathima54222 жыл бұрын
I bet this is the first time you watched a Toastmaster speech in youtube. What the heck do u mean by "overacting''? Hon, that's how speeches are delivered in public speaking competitions, watch more toastmasters speeches in youtube, (especially 'Still standing' by Ramona), To give a killer speech, those are the elements to be followed - great humor, body language, eye contact- she followed them all, none of it was overacting (as you put it)
