I love that even the thumbnail shows Katara blushing because of Aang, right after kissing him in the Cave of Two Lovers episode, because there isn't any moment whatsoever where she felt flustered because of Zuko. Zutara doesn't exist.

i get it can be hard to understand but i'll explain in short and long (disclaimer: i'm not a zutara shipper but i do see it) long version: the first reason i'll explain is katara and zuko first presented as attractive (in universe) and since anng was mentally and physically 12 he did give "little brother vibes" at first its was almost common sense to ship the first to attractive people presented also there were no other clear love interests for either of them (jet and mai came in season two i think) another reason may be "opposite attract" since katara is a water bender and zuko a fire bender also at the start of season one there personalities were quite opposite aswell katara being: full of hope and zuko had lost all hope making them contrast each other perfectly third reason: the jade prison scene the main reason of this whole ship in my opinion were tey both bond ped over there mother's death and zuko almost getting his scar healed (got tired its like 11 i have school tmr) short version: 1.💧+🔥=❤ e.g fireboy + water girl wade + ember shark boy + lava girl ect 2.when introduced they didn't have very clear love interest 3.the jade prison scene hope this helped

I can’t believe it! Avatar the last airbender is a copycat of Captain Planet. Captain Planet master of all 5 elements earth, fire, Wind, Water, heart. Avatar master of all 4 elements. Captain Planet came first. Avatar has a better story line and the fact that he or she needs to learn to master the elements make it better.

Why people have to generalize that all the fans of Zutara did or think like that. There is variety and I believe a fair amount of these fans, we have a better argument why we were rooting for Zutara and it’s NOT what you pointed out. Either way every fandom has a toxic side even Kataang, no one is clean in this ridiculous battle, that shouldn’t exist because it’s just shipping animated characters, not a big of a deal.
