I'm an atheist. But to the best of my knowledge, Jews have been living the middle east from around 2000 BC, whereas Islam was invented in 610 AD.

I was born and raised Muslim i have a cousin in the jordanian government, its been a long hard road for me my wife and two sons, the teachings and habits offered up by Islam almost completely destroyed our lives. I'm now an orthodox Christian who has been blessed with the experience of being awakened to the truth. In the early 2000s I went to a private Islamic school in Kansas City Missouri where in second grade they would have a paintball course for PE class and they would tell you that one day Jews are going to hide behind the trees and the trees will tell you to come kill them all the crazy things that you hear that people accuse of being islamophobic are actually all true. All of us are wrong about something there's no way to argue against that but as a planet and has a human race will never fully be healthy until we quit doing and convincing ourselves of such silly things like our poor Jewish brothers and sisters don't belong on that land even as a small child I started to feel that a lot of what I was being taught just didn't make sense and was completely wrong I Think Jesus for never forgetting about me and I pray that all my brothers and sisters are blessed with insight and knowledge into these Global events that will help them see the truth

As an arab living in israel, i think this war is no longer about the land , it is about hatred and ego built upon years of cries and anger , it is about religion , and it is about values . I have to say it was so satisfying hearing a civil conversation full of TRUE FACTS. thank you for that. Something important that was missing - Jews didn't just want a spot of their own, the jewish people wanted a national home in the land of their ancestors that was Israel (or the kingdom of Judea). The Jewish people always kept Israel in their thoughts and wished to return to Israel since they were exiled by the Romans after the second temple was destroyed. The Jews were in the land long before Islam even existed. I've been reading the Bible from the Old Testament and I know that Land was given to them by God. But since Oct 7, I did some research in the internet how the Jews got back to the promised land. Based on history, research and the Bible Old Testament where you can see the detailed history of Israel, the land from the Euphrates to the Mediterranean belonged to Israel. The South to the Northern borders of Israel included the land around the Sinai desert to Lebanon. In the old past there was the kingdom of Judah in the South ( 2 tribes Judah and Benjamin) and the kingdom of Israel ( the rest of the 12 tribes). The only three kings of Judah and Israel were Saul, David and Solomon which then were divided into independent kingdoms. Israel was invaded by the assyrians and Judah later on invaded by Babylonians when sent into exile. However, there were always Jews in the land . Just it is important to remember that in the beginning there was the land of Canaan at the time that Israel was liberated and migrated from bondage in Egypt . Joshua conquered Jericho and then the rest of the land where the 12 tribes got established long before there was any Palestine.

The sad thing about this conflict is that I feel like everything is so simple and so easy to understand. Before the State of Israel was founded, the Jewish population was called Palestinian Jews. Which Palestine is it actually about? From my point of view, the name was always tied to the area and not to a state. As far as I can remember, the Muslim Palestinians didn't want their own state, they always wanted the whole area. Which was not or is not possible because it would result in the expulsion of all other people (Jews, Christians, Atheists, etc.).

The Quran claim to affirm the Torah which calls the land an eternal possession of Israel.

When language and words have different meanings, it means what the messenger is seeking to convey, not necessarily how it’s interpreted. It’s like identity. No other person can insist your identity is one way when they are not the authority on it, only the person can inform others to their identity. This is how language and communication has always been and it’s no different in the context of conflicts.

Thank you for this. I keep trying to tell people that there has never in the entire history of time been a land anywhere that was owned by Palestinians as a country. There is also no occupation in Gaza or the West Bank. The word occupation means something and that something is not happening. Also the claim of apartheid this too means something. Apartheid was a philosophy of racism in South Africa by the South African government. Hamas is the government in Gaza not Israel. Are people saying Hamas is using Apartheid against their own people, no. They mean that Israel isn’t being nice to a race of people who have resolved to not rest until Israel is wiped off the map. Maybe Israel should be sending them military aid.

As a Christian from Papua New Guinea. We must stop using the term occupiers for Israel. It is all mighty GOD gave it to them. Therefore, under God's guidance he make sure every neighbouring states must recognise Israel as state or their God.
