@cruzkoward5093Ай бұрын
These guys always so caught up in Midwest teams lmfao they’ll see a west coast offense shred the big 10 and then Oregon basically has all the bodies to do work on defense but yes Tosh and Stein deserve the recognition. The defense isn’t facing any high powered offenses this year except Ohio St so the numbers should be even better esp w a better roster this year

Tosh does deserve recognition for sure, but Chris Hampton is also a name to know. He’s the Co-DC and DB coach at Oregon.

Before NIL, someone like Tosh Lupoi was someone you could hire and know he was “with the program” and comfortable with bag men and under the table. He’s like a made man comfortable in the grey. Not an elite coordinator in ability.
@hutchysan3438Ай бұрын
You're talking about talent having an effect at UGA but praise OSU lol who has a blue chip ratio just as if not high on a normal basis.
@tomfornelli8417Ай бұрын
Because Ohio State's current coordinators have experienced success at previous stops where they didn't have a tremendous talent advantage. Can you say the same about Bobo and Schumann?
@hutchysan3438Ай бұрын
@@tomfornelli8417 Schumann hasn't done it yet so who knows, but he has been fantastic as a DC, even with Kirby. I know he leans and learns a lot from him, as Kirby did with Saban. But with the OC's I know Kelly came out with the Ducks as an OC genius but he also had some of the best offensive players from the 2010's which leads to the same "but is it talent" comment you made. Thats all i was saying, both OSU and UGA benefit from having an amazing staff and recruits that makes the coordinators jobs easier. Knowles definitely came in and fixed the ship on defense I am not arguing that but he didn't go to a place that had a lack of talent.
@hutchysan3438Ай бұрын

Sometime I hear cover 3 and I am like, man, good show. Then other times I hear them and I think, man, these guys have just read the spark notes on college football games and have never actually seen a college football game. I would say that I expect better, but man Cover 3 is more on the "spark note" side then they know what they are talking about side.
