Honestly when Amanda and Shayne were announced as the hosts of the podcast, I thought it was a weird pair. Now I can’t imagine them in a video without the other

Same. It works perfectly because Amanda just has that power to take up space even next to people who bring a lot of energy themselves like Shayne. She never gets lost. She has some interests and references that are different to the rest of cast, it adds a lot. The way she basicaly was "asleep" from 2012 - 2019 causing constant "What?!" moments will always be funny.
