Our daughter had experimental PRRT in 2017 which successfully reduced/killed all of her tumors. She had surgery in 2018 to remove her spleen, gall bladder and 2/3rds of her pancreas. All liver turmoil were dead. She has been on Sandostatin since 2017. She was doing well until she was advised to take the Covid vaccine and booster. Her cancer returned with many, many more tumors. She just had her 3rd PRRT(experimental) today. Some of the tumors are shrinking.

All the best to your daughter. I had no risk factors, no family history of cancer. Had Covid vaccines in 2021 and 2022, cancer diagnosed in 2023. Progressed with Lanreotide, chemotherapy helped but with side effects. Now on PRRT, 2nd round is tomorrow.

I start mine June 21,2022. How did you tolerate it, and what was the outcome of the treatment? Did it shrink them?

I have to have a second round of this I had it in 2020 it worked up until this year my cancer returned around the outside of heart and liver . All the stress I endured in 2020 brough😢the cancer back

My pancreatic net has shown no change after 2 cycles with beta particle. Will you recommend alpha particle for other 2 cycles.

My mom has tried iv chemo, it kept the tumor from growing. They put her on pills and she got rea sick. lost a ton a weight. wasn't able to keep any food down so she had to get a gastrectomy (probably spelled wrong) surgery on her intestine. Its has spread to her kidney. Its hard for her to eat because of all the pain she is in. They don't want to start chemo until she is stronger. Would she be a candidate for PRRT?
