Delhi-NCR woke up to heavy rain on Friday, leaving several areas waterlogged. Traffic jams were witnessed at several places, while water entered many homes in parts of Delhi. One person died, while many were injured after a portion of the roof of the Delhi airport's Terminal-1 collapsed. Besides the roof sheet, the support beams also collapsed, damaging the cars parked in the pick-up and drop area of the terminal.

Unless some body is held responsible by the government such tragedy will continue in all constructions It is not an isolated incidence at Delhi Airport Even at Chennai Airport there are/were lapses
