Actually, Chelsea's worst finish prior to the 22/23 season was in 93/94, they finished in 14th. Meaning that according to the table, that was their worst season.

The 1978/79 was the worst overall for Chelsea when it comes to league performance, as they went down by finishing the last place with a record low of 20 points.

The only reason salah has more goals/assists is because he plays in a klopp system that is built around him scoring. He has absolutely no responsibility to carry the ball, dribble or to contribute in playmaking whereas hazard was all of the above. And hazard played in defensive systems under Mourinho and Conte where the tactics were park the bus, win the ball, pass it to hazard and then let him dribble and create/score

Mohamed Salah has had a better career and he has a bigger legacy in football than Eden Hazard in my opinion. In their peak Eden Hazard was obviously the better player after he made that big money move to Real Madrid he experienced injuries poor form criticism from others for his performances work rate and desire for the game all of this causing him to retire from football at 32, in this same period from 2019-2023 Mohamed Salah has taken his game to an even higher level and he’s one of the best players in the history of Liverpool football club he’s guided them to a lot of trophies including the Champions League and in 2020 won their first Premier League title in 30 years as his impressive performances he won multiple scoring titles and individual awards his consistency and excellence for Liverpool has made him a club legend and one of the best players to have ever played in the premier league. If we’re talking about their peak and footballing abilities Eden Hazard was better than Mohamed Salah.

Very true,Mohamed Salah is a true wonderkid. But Eden Hazard is an amazing playmaker and creates many chances as well as performing insane dribbles, obblitterating the other teams defense. Agreed on techincial terms but its like R9's sad demise even though he was insane at dribbling He would get fould and targetted so it shows that other people know how good he is but try to end his carreer so they can win.

Salah is a system player who was surrounded by great technical players. Right from the goalkeeper Allison to the full backs trent and robbo, everyone created chances for salah. Mane was the main dribbler and playmaker. Firmino created so much for salah. On the other hand, hazard was mostly alone

Depends on the stats. I took a detailed look at all their stats from their best seasons. Salah in 2017/18 and Hazard in 2018/19. Hazard wins in every stat except goals. More assits, more dribbles, almost twice as many passes (yes that is a legit stat as crazy as it sounds), more duels won, better pass accuracy, twice as many forward passes, even more interceptions and tackles (that definitely surprised me). The stats were a complete domination from Hazard. I do love both players though and would do anything to see them on the same team in their primes. They'd have worked so well together as well because of how different they are.

I believe that Eden Hazard was a better player than Mohamed Salah just in their prime. Mohamed Salah is a better goalscorer and his numbers are impressive there’s a reason why he’s won 3 Golden Boots that’s an amazing feat considering the fact that he plays in the toughest division in world football and that’s a testament to his goalscoring abilities consistency and longevity in a league season yes he can also provide assists and was an incredibly fast player, from a footballing perspective Eden Hazard was a better creator playmaker passer dribbler and his game was more fun to watch. I have huge respect for Mohamed Salah but purely off of the eye test Eden Hazard was better and sure goals and assists don’t always reflect on how impactful of a player he was he brought enjoyment and excitement to the game and it wasn’t just about the statistics he was genuinely an incredible player when he was at Chelsea and the way he carried them and helped them win so many trophies including a few premier league titles he was a threat for sure.

If I could have any player's prime for 7 years straight and build a team around them, it would have to be Hazard. Chelsea never really bought players to specifically suit Hazard's game, and he still amazed the world. Salah had that Liverpool team fine tuned for him.

Liverpool has never been built around Salah. The mané firmino Salah front 3 and all worked together with the whole Team to win titles. It's jxt that Salah is too good that he is always on the spotlight and it's not like Liverpool has always been a strong team every season for example 2018, 2021, and 2023 we struggled for Top 4 yet Salah was always splendid. first i fell like this argument is not that necessary bcuz both players are wingers who play on diff wings bot however when comparing them ill say i prefer hazard bcuz he could come on and become a clutch player for u (Prob one of the most underrated clutch players in football) he could come on waste the whole midfield and defence and bang its a goal but if u want a guy that can just score and keep on piling or doin an inverted winger stuff call salah

If you gave me a prime Hazard and a prime Salah and asked me who is the better player, everyone would agreed that Hazard comes out on top. But, we need to look at what the results were instead of looking at what could have been. Salah was way more consistent, delivered much better goal and assist numbers, and maintained his level over a longer time frame. What frustrates me about Hazard was that on ability, talent, and potential, he could have been a ballon do'r winner if he wanted it. The best way to summarise this woud be that Salah lived up to his potential, but Hazard did not.

the only people who compare salah to hazard are delusional chelsea fans who are bitter about salahs rise to the top. they had salah before his prime and hazard in his prime, but all the numbers prove that salah in his prime at liverpool wipes the floor, dirties it and then wipes it clean again with hazards prime at chelsea. hazard is better at dribbling. salah is better at literally every single other aspect of the game.
