I'm think it actually very clever and interesting theory about Callum dad, it make sense because it unlikely to be that much important in the story, but fit in the first half of the season as side plot.

RQ you know Amaya is Deaf and not Mute right? She has the ability to Speak but because she's Deaf her ability to speak is well what you'd expect from someone who can't hear their own voice, this is why she uses sign language, its easier to talk through someone who can understand sign language then it risk someone not understanding you, I know a few Deaf people who can talk but prefer sign language as their speech is kind of slurred and hard to understand unless they're really trying, not that its on them and I've learned to understand them, but Yeah Amaya can speak and I'm kind of sad we don't hear her more often, I get why though

So far only Callum and Aaravos can do more than one Primal Magic. Even if he is 1/128th of an elf, he still the first one to master 2 primal arcana in thousands of years. Probably this season he will master the Stars Arcanum too, judging by the teasers. Leaving him lacking on Sun, Moon and Earth.

He is probably doing some kind of astral projection (or he might be falling off the tower) It bugs me that Rayla sprout some lower back wings sometime in the teaser. So either she was the one getting the arcanum, or someone (maybe Callum) provided for her.

Yea I thought about that too. I think we've just not gotten to see much of the human world after S2, so I'd be surprised if in the big Aaravos Season, we spend more time in the Human Kingdoms. I think it's more likely we find out some other way. But him being from Duren could very well be!

Yea I saw that she was close with the mayor, but I doubt that's the father, since the father apparently died... it could be in the same family though, and that's why Sarai is close with him

@@TheGlowingHay That’s what I think to, since looking at the timeline, the old mayor would be too old to have been Sarai husband, so maybe he was a relative of Callum’s birth father. But if that was the case, I think Harrow would’ve referred to him as “an in-law” to Sarai rather than just a friend.

Bro💀 nah that's just been an age old theory that was confirmed not true, and then revived when the character model of the Merciful One probably reused the Sarai assets. It would be so silly if that were true. I do think the Merciful One is someone or something we've heard about before though. ...but that's something I'm working on for a future video!

Yea absolutely! I would imagine him being a relatively "normal" human would be quite likely. I don't think they want to bring in another really important character out of nowhere. More just answer long unanswered questions. Can't wait either though!

I'm guessing they will probably give us someone specific as his father, but noone we knew about so far, or will get to know much about, since I think the idea of him is far more important than the actual person. I doubt it's an elf, since the creators have been quite against that, and I think it would make quite a few ppl upset since there has been a lot of focus on callum being the first human to manage these things, not half human, half elf. But yea, only time will tell

@@TheGlowingHay i was thinking there may have been someone hunting or looking for something and they just happened to stumble in their camp, i also considered if it yould give us a hint to what the key is for or where to look for it, but in a "i am looking for the key of Aaravos bla bla diery stuff" kind of way. I like seeing what the posibilities are and then logicaly choosing or deducing which could be correct, but im kinda sick and my brain is not braining the way it usualy does. Haha no for sure! I'm not quite sure if you mean that the person who found the camp was researching the Key of Aaravos or if I should cover it. If the former, that would be kinda cool, and really unexpected. I guess it could've led them to the Starscraper, and they tried to reach it, before realising they couldn't make it and stayed at the camp... yea I could imagine that. As for me looking into it, I have, a LOT! I have an older video on it, and I still stand by it not being the key to his prison, and I really hope it won't be, because that would be so lame. More likely it's to do with understanding arcanums. I don't know for sure though, and I'm still a bit stumped by it anyway. I am working on videos about the Stars though, so maybe that covers some of your thoughts!

@@TheGlowingHay im looking forword to it, i saw the older video you mentioned recently, and i 100% agree its not the key to the prison, if you look at the posters that they have been releasing recently, you can see that its most likely a key to a book (Aaravos is holding it with the key in those posters and there is an opening in the cover of the book that looks like it could fit the key there) i ment someone researching the key of Aaravos in the wreck, meaning they mabey found some clues to the book or mentions of the key being pulled to a certain direction like its mentioned in callums spellbook, and decided to follow the clues hoping to descover something. If you plan on doing a video about the key of Aaravos i would definetly watch it, there are so many covers of this topic, but none with the more new information, we know the orphan ueen had it and it glowed in her hand, meaning she was probobly conected to an arcanum like callum is or (in my opinion more likely) she had a conection to Aaravos and helped imprison him, i remember someone mentioning that Aaravos said something about a human giving him a red fruit from a tree and somehow conecting it to her too (witch was interesting and i think i agree with that theory) it also gave more of a perspective to the timeline of how the key got to the king and then to Callum, and that the whole "its a key to Aaravoses prison" thing is not actualy possible if you define the timeline based on what we know (i honestly didn´t believe it to begin with) i honestly think Aaravos either made it as a tool to help him understand the primal sources more, or as a kind of a thing to open his diary/spelbook similar to what Callum has with his sketchbook (you know, like one of those pendant opens diary things) Im also curious how the "we are all stardust" poem will fit into this, because it certainly seems importaint, tho im not sure if its importaint because Aaravos hates it or because he has it like his mantra or whatnot, with how much he despises the stars i wouldn´t be surprised if he hated it. Sory if i can´t explain my thoughts properly, English is my second language, not to mention i´m not good at explaining to begin with + im also super sick right now 😅

Yea I agree with you, how it with the timeline, it should have to do with Aaravos himself. I love the idea of like a diary key. I could definitely imagine that the book we see is where he put down everything he learned about the different arcanums, allowing him to connect to each one. OK actually, what if you can only see the things to do with the sign that is glowing. So sometimes it shows content on the Sky, sometimes Earth, and that way there was an infinite amount of space for Aaravos, and the books do look kinda different, so maybe it "unlocks" a different version of the book depending on the sign. Also the key being pulled, I wish we would get to see to where... Maybe it gets pulled to the book. That would be quite cool!

I think because we see it in the flashback, it existed for at least 300+ years by now. I think the pendant might have something to do with the possession. Maybe it is being "possessed", making it see things, kinda how we got to see the Moon magic being used on the Cursed Caldera. Maybe Aaravos tricked it?

That theory never made sense to me because not only did the novels confirm that Callum’s biological father died when he was little, we see in the season 2 flashback that Viren was friends with harrow and Sarai. If Viren was Callum’s father, I feel like that would make his friendship with Harrow a lot more awkward since Harrow had married his best friend’s ex-wife. Also it would make that scene where Callum and Claudia are about to kiss very gross in hindsight. It’s be Star Wars all over again 🤮

While I do agree on a general level, I think the problem is adding new characters with no context to why they're being added. I think getting to know Callum's dad would be fitting... as for Esmerelda, I don't think she'll appear in any way in the show, she's just a person to have lived in Xadia, kinda like Finneas the explorer... unimportant to any plot, but makes the world feel more ...lived in?

This was a working theory for a long time, and like many many people wrote about it in all sorts of ways and it gained traction to the point that the creators came out and said themselves that wasn't the case. It's kinda sad, that that is still the first thing a lot of people find. Hope this helps though!

Would be interesting if the father was a Knight. Would make a cool contrast to Callum not being able to do well in the Knight training

I'm guessing they'd then also mean that the aren't related ...at all. It's a bit of older theory lore, but just thought I'd let you know before you also fall down that rabbit hole😂
