Who is DC Comics' inFamous? SHOCKING Video Game Collaboration!

From his origin in the "inFamous" video game on Playstation as Cole MacGrath, comic book glory showing the timeline between the first two games, being a latent superhuman Conduit, gaining electokinetic powers after being in "The Blast" explosion caused by the Ray Sphere device, his life becoming a complicated web after he learns of Kessler and The Beast due to his own time traveling, becoming a force to be reckoned with in Empire City, his interactions with the Reapers and First Sons groups, to epic battles with his new comic book enemy named David; Let's take a look at this DC superhero, and powerful Electric Man of a classic game by Sucker Punch Productions. This includes a short, canon character biography and my own opinionated "Sage Rating," which I use to give ratings of comic books and science fiction characters.

03:12 Actually, he can't shower. He sponge bathes. It's in his dialogue in the first game. He also gained those additional powers PERMANENTLY, but separately. Only by replaying the second game, or importing saves from the first, then playing through with the opposite power set and restarting the game again can you unlock both at once.

ndgame 1 He is owned by sony they created him this is a cross over in graphic novel form.Its not uncommon for a graphic novel to pop up especially with video game characters.He isn't in the dcu WB published the graphic novel because Sony couldn't.

Didn't hate second son but it's just not cole 🤣 fingers crossed we get infamous 3 on PS5. Let him soak up a load of new powers. I'd personally say infamous is up there with spiderman and batman in terms of game quality. He just needs some more memorable villains :)

Cole MacGrath was never once referred to as Infamous. He's referred to as the Demon of Empire City and by name, Kessler is an alternate future self that our Cole never becomes, and if you use the evil karma ending he's The Beast.

one of the best games to ever appear in the PS platform/ if the story in INfamous as Good Cole doesn't brake you heart at the start of the final chapter and explode you mind at the end of the game,you are NOT a human being. Suckerpunch hit that very special spot with this game and never did anything as amazing as it since then. PLAY IT PEOPLE!!

@@ki700 Well, people tend to remember the names of books, movies, songs, etc over and against remembering the individual names of characters that belong to said title itself, especially if most people have never played the game, and just know the character via indirect means, such is the case with the DC character "Captain Marvel", for years people have mistakenly referred to him as "Shazam", largely due to the fact that his comic book was titled "The Power of SHAZAM", even though his name was used constantly inside the comic, it got so tedious, that the employees at DCComics (particularly Geoff Johns) had to cave and call him Shazam instead.... I've never played the Infamous games before, yet when the thumbnail said "Infamous" along with the image of the character, I instantly went "Oh, this guy!" I had no idea what his true name was, but I always knew who he was, and I even knew some of his powers before I watched New Sage's video, because I would have seen trailers for the game years ago on G4TV before that channel went out.

Kessler was old when Alduin was like 8. Alduin is like 60 in InFamous 1. Bertrand himself was a child too. You could argue Kessler may be 300 years old. He also produced weapons and technology 100 plus years ahead of us that Darpa took.

In InFamous 2, you had a choice to murder half of humanity and kill Zeke or kill all conduits and yourself. In Second Son, there is still conduits running around and Zeke is still alive. Second Son must take place in the timeline where Cole takes the alias as Kessler and travels back in time.

No. Second Son takes place when Cole sacrifices himself. Good karma ending which is the canonical ending. Some Conduits were able to survive and their matter abilities became more diverse.

It was emotionally and morally shallow BS, and didn't even address the concept of people being terrorists simply by existing. The enemies had almost no variety, there was no explanation as to why the power cores were scattered around except as a mechanic to boost your powers, and the villain's story was ridiculous.

Infamous 1 was the best and 2 became cliche. Second Son was short and it's due to Sony cutting SP development time 6 months off cause they wanted a exclusive out for the ps4. Giving 1886 those 6 months. However the game is amazing. Cole and Delsin differ and I love that. Also, people literally are replaying SS rn and appreciating it more than ever before. Paper Trails also adds to the world lore and it seems you just didn't pay attention. They feared what Conduits would do due to the beast. Then on PT we get more info that the military wanted Conduits to become free resources while then profiting from them economically including Augustine which is why she resorted to her game actions. Also Cole died canonically and confirmed by director. SS also takes a more realistic approach.

Cole one shots. Alex Mercer speed and attack potency is significantly inferior. Cole shoots real lighting 50 to 100 speed of light. Cole dodges radio waves and radiation blasts along side lighting. Alex has never dodged anything close to that. Also Cole can created Ef 5 tornadoes that lift entire trucks and tanks and buildings or can freeze entire multi blocks and beam down several lightning bolts. Dude kills Mercer. Mercer is reaction is slower and he's building level of damage at best. Cole also survived a Nuke level attack. Mercer nearly died by the ass of a nukes blast.
