Who is DC Comics' Ulysses? "The Last Son of Earth"

This video explores the abilities, powers, and origin of the DC Comics character "Ulysses" Neil Quinn. From his birth as a human on Earth to the brilliant scientists of Ulysses Research Center named Bridget and Peter Quinn, being raised by the powerful being Klerik as a Seeker on the 4th dimensional planet named The Great World after being sent there by his parents to avoid the potential destruction of Earth during an accident at the Ulysses Research Center, developing extraordinary superpowers on that planet that resembled those of Superman Kal-El, coming back to Earth years later to retrieve millions of people to basically "power" the core of The Great World, developing a soft spot for Superman and his newly discovered birth parents, eventually working with the Man of Steel to save the people, to battling so hard against Superman after they accidentally cause The Great World's destruction that Supes develops his new power Super Flare to defeat him; Let's take a look at this conflicted new DC supervillain, and maybe the most powerful "normal" human to ever contend with our resident Kryptonian. This includes a short, canon character biography and my own opinionated "Sage Rating," which I use to give ratings of comic book and science fiction characters.

I would much rather prefer him to be a anti-hero of sorts he's way too cool to reduce him to the status of super villain we have already too many cool overpowered characters as super villains let's have one that is a rival to Superman but still on the side of right and Justice, like with ghostmaker and Batman!

This comic and the Ulysses character reminds me of a take on Superman III staring Christopher Reeve (GOD rest his soul). As always fantastic video, narration and content my brother. Sup, Sage! Here's another one I didn't know of! Still, never was knowledgeable about DC comics. Great job on the animations on the video, bro. Really stepped it up this this time. 👍 Gonna take my friends and families advice, and put forth a short story, 7 chapters in all, before I push to publish The Return. A means to already be a established author and know the world of publishing before I fight for ambitions story like The Return! However! While a short story, I'm going to bring it all, give all my skill to it as to show what I'm capable of, and then use all earned from it to help kick off my YT channel, and help lay for that anime styled trauler for the The Return. Plans are in motion, and I'm way more excites than I am scared for a change! 😌

I think this somewhat new type of super-villain (ULYSSES) that is introduce in the ComicBook story is quite interesting, intense, and dramatic as well. Now I wonder what it might be like if ULYSSES was ever introduced into either a live-action show series, or in a live-action movie as a new type of enemy for SuperMan to fight against?

Thank you new Sage for giving this character the props he deserves he's basically DC's mutant version of Superman and is way cooler, besides his tendency to be overloaded with energy he is basically Unstoppable and could Destroy Planet Krypton even though he is Under their Red Sun he could destroy the entire planet cuz unlike Superman he can convert any type of energy to empower himself; i hope he is bought back by the writers he has so much potential and if done right he could have his own solo series of comic books similar to Superman and Wolverine!

I still say Sentry & Hyperion can beat Superman. There's no way he can beat a guy who's got the power of a 100,000,000(100 million) exploding suns. But just for the sake of argument, let's just ''say'' he beat Sentry, what happens when he gets pissed & flips out? What's Superman supposed to do when he blows a gasket & the Void comes out? What could he possibly do against someone who can literally lay waste the entire multiverse? If he can't beat the Sentry, what hope does he have against the Void? As for Hyperion? C'mon, let's be real here, cause as much as I love Superman, him being in both my top 10 list (for heroes, & characters in general), let's call a spade a spade: Hyperion is faster, tougher(more durable), & a LOT stronger than Superman. I used to think that it all started & ended w/Superman, that he was the ''be all/end all. Then I woke up. I woke up & realized that there characters that he just couldn't get past. In Johnathan Hickman's Avengers/New Avengers: Incursions storyline, universes were crashing into each other, & the focal points was Earth. If 2 earths touched, both universes would be destroyed. Hyperion held 2 earths apart for 5 mins, essentially holding 2 universes apart. After both earths collided, destroying both universes, & he STILL lived?! That dude is SUPER OP! Until I see Clark hold 2 earths apart, saving the universe, there's no discussion on who's stronger & more durable. I mean the Eternals are among the strongest characters in Marvel, & Hyperion is in the top 3 or 4 strongest. In fact, only Gilgamesh, Thanos, & (Thanos' father) Chronos are stronger

Funny thing Superman super flare ability was initially ability from the Super Girls. It was a red Sunburst when they used it also yulissa ceasuri reminds me of a twisted take on the telling son of Superman last son of Earth and Superman Last Stand on Krypton
