Every single scripture has god personified to have human characteristics. This is from observation. Saying god knows, God loves, god cares. You're giving our attributes to the source of creation. It is pretty evident.

@@austinred458 not every scripture, read the Quran: "And there is none like Him" (Quran 112:4) Quran does talk about God's love, forgiveness and anger, but it says so to relate to the attributes of his creation and it does not imply that God is bound by those attributes or is under the influence of them, because then those emotions will be more powerful than God therefore those emotions shall be God. But the above line from the Quran makes it evident in very few and simple words that there is none like him... Another point is that the Quran is the only remaining and unadulterated word of God and not changed by humans like the Gospel and the Torah. Therefore God is giving those "relatable attributes" to himself in his own words rather than a human being personifying Him.

@@FahadFSA Who said that this is the unadulterated word of god? All of it falls behind sense. I didn't say God is bound to attributes, but the very fact that these scriptures exist as the "word of god" like God said something, and that God becomes wrathful or forgiving or whatever, is primarily giving human qualities to God, which only human beings can do. If lions had their own religion, they'd obviously give god lion attributes. That's the simplest aspect of what Sadhguru said. God is giving attributes to himself? 🤣 Come on man. We can do better.
