Wow, just wow! I’m blown away by your on-point message. I’m not a book writer or a blog writer. Neither am I a public speaker. I’m a school bus driver. You just put into words what I want to do for all of my students each and every day. I want them to know that someone sees them and cares. I’m also a thriver from a domestic violence filled marriage of 11 years. I’m 10 years past that huge decision to leave. You have put clarity into so many aspects of that experience. Thank you. Thank you, Lysa, so much. Thank you for doing this through the pain. I feel your hurt from here, 2 years later. I have been so desperate for this message, and after all the prayers and the devastation and the overwhelming crying, I found you. I found this message that feels like we are sitting down for coffee and sharing our stories. I am in the midst of writing my story. I pray that one day we can have that coffee moment, and listen to each other with open hearts.

The thing I fear more than death is failing God… I know, I know… we can’t fail Him… but is that really true. I am not so sure about that. When I am scared to do what He call us to do, it makes me feel like I totally failed! I pray for the courage to do the hard things He is calling me to do with bravery and steadfastness! Pray for His grace to guide me into His peace as I walk… stand… sit still… kneel…
