Actually she is NOT alternate timeline. Johnny Cage says at the end of the story he wanted someone "Younger and Prettier to take the lead". Now she is playable. Most likely Janet will be revealed as his sister in the aftermath story line.

They were originally planning to do that, but as you can see, the game was super rushed. You can tell the game was pushed out 6 months to 1 year ahead of schedule cause WB was super greedy to meet the new Quarter

The “teen titans” get folded by sub, whoop kotal, he comes back for the salty. And then the older line up the same w/ quan and shin. MK11, this the only game that’d make sense. Since a big plot is raiden fusing w/ Liu kang. Then again everyone still be stickin to the buddy system. MK 1 woulda been so fun if they took their sweet ass time polishing every kameo for actual characters. Aren’t a 3rd alr prexisting characters? And then special forces which I guess they have no fucks to write about. Hope to at least see redevelopment in the next game

I’m starting to think that a Rogue centric game that plays like Streets of Rage but has Megaman style mechanics would be a hit.
