the leaders usually do keep their children a secret. NK public didn’t even know Kim Jong-un existed until his father appointed him as his successor when he was already in his 20s. Jong-un has siblings too but apparently, according to defectors, most of them are secret and they didn’t even know about his brother while they lived there.
