Kristi Noem, the governor of the US state of South Dakota, is facing massive criticism for shooting dead her 14-month-old family dog for being "too dangerous". She has reportedly admitted to killing the dog and a goat in her forthcoming memoir. Noem says the killings show her willingness to do anything "difficult, messy and ugly." However, critics say Noem should not have mentioned the killings in her book as the controversy has hurt her chances of becoming Donald Trump's running mate in the upcoming presidential elections. This is not the first time Noem has found herself caught in a public scandal. She was previously rumored to be having an affair with Trump's former campaign manager.

This woman wrote the story about shooting this pup & the goat in her own book, then blames "fake news" for the story! She also took her dog, that was bred to go after birds, on a bird hunt, without any training, then stopped at a farm on the way home & the dog killed some chickens! Nothing is her fault, you see. She takes no responsibility for her role in anything when there are negative consequences! She cray. Next!

Our only hope is to get center-right & center-left candidates in office in both parties & to support moderate, thoughtful independents. If a pet is out of order it's because the owner has not educated itself properly. An owner who is not in control of her-/himself can never control her/his pets. The problem is the owner, not the pet that does what the owner teaches it.

I have no doubt Noem is capable of making tough decisions, she refused to lock down her state during covid and S. Dakota has been prospering economically. That decision to shoot her dog though because she couldn't train it was wrong.

BS. Where Kristi Neom Lives in South Dakota is the area where I just started living. The nearest animal control is over 500 Miles away and this is RANCH COUNTRY where Ranch owners have to make tough decisions every day about Livestock and Animals of all types on the Ranch. This Dog was out of control and killing Chickens and going after other livestock. This cannot be allowed to happen and this Pup Kristi had would have been a danger to ranch hands and Children visiting, as it had decided to be the ALPHA and do exactly what the Dog wanted to do. This is a Dangerous situation when you live so far from everything and Help. Thought Australian's would understand this. But, I can see this is a city point of view that some are talking about and its a Hundred miles off the mark or rather ignorance. I train and rescue Dogs for Service work and if I thought what Governor Neom had done was a travesty, then I would be screaming about it. But, its tough to get the REAL STORY when the Fake News gets involved.

After the expected happens, she commits animal cruelty and publishes it on a book... she does not have 2 neurons to rub together, she is dead and buried, just like the goat and dog oh, and did I mention she is banned from visiting parts of her own state, sorry I forgot that
