Fans of "Friends" may know that the actor Matthew Perry wasn't the only member of his family to appear on the long-running show. Perry, who died in October 2023, is survived by his father, John Bennett Perry, an actor of some repute in his own right.

His father was so handsome. He gave Matt his terrific looks, but Matt had a certain spark and a humor that made him more famous. Matt Perry was an extremely handsome man.

I use to have a crush on Matthew dad as he use to be in the tv show 240 Robert with Mark Harmon. Mr Perry if he do read this my heart goes out to you and your family. I am still having a hard time that Matthew has passed on . God was missing and angel and that angel is in the arms of god now. Once again I am so very sorry for your loss:(

Let me help you. The title of the video is "Who Is Matthew Perry's Famous Father?" Not "Who did Matthew's mom get with after Matthew Perry's biological father and Matthew Perry's biological mom were split up?" I hope this helps alleviate some of your confusion as to why Keith Morrison wasn't mention in this piece.

@@jasras5003 Keith Morrison was the man who helped raise him, Matthew was just a kid in 1981 when his mom married Keith Morrison and Keith and Matthew were very close while his own bio-dad was missing from his life. Keith very much deserves a mention as Matthew's co-parent and important influence on Matt since he was 10 yrs. old.

I'm almost 50 & lost my grandma long ago mom 6 months ago & brother 7 yrs ago. The ones who would do anything for me. My living relatives don't bother much w me. Not my dad's fault as he is elderly. I feel completely alone now.

Most time fathers leave because of their screwed up wives not their kids. So it was only natural that he reconnected with his father. His mother was the problem. All the trauma was from most of his life with her!
