I honestly doubt Vegapunk wouldve made a failed clone like Weevil. Its more likely Bakkin observed how the cloning process was done since she was the first guinea pig. Then she probably went behind Vegapunk's back and attempted to replicate the process but obviously failed.

Perhaps Weevil was a clone made out of the DNA of multiple Rocks pirates (mainly WB & Stussy, but also Shiki, Silver Axe, etc). They just took what they thought were the best pieces (like Shiki's hair) and lumped them together in one clone.

Agreed. Man is easily the funniest and best One Piece youtuber I've seen. Everyone else like Ohara and Grandline clickbait, which makes it hard for me to consider watching a video about the newest chapter. But Tekking, the legend, jus has the a chapter count and even puts on a suit for an hour review I love this man, and I hope he'll reach 1 mill subscribers

An important thing to remember is that Oda considers moms to be the antithesis of freedom. As explained in previous SBS, mom's will try their best to not let you go into crazy adventures and risking your hide for stuff, and that's why One Piece has very few motherly figures.

In my opinion she's the Nami of the Rock pirates except most of them like old Stussy got the bad future. She probably thought of the idea to clone whitebeard which lead to Vegapunk trying, but deeming the project a failure which allowed him to create the Sarepham.

Seraphim themselves might not be proper clones because they have their own personalities and it has been highlighted that they are not like their Warlord counterparts (Mihawk Seraphim being more human and Boa Seraphim being more nice). They are not complete robots and can think for themselves.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Miss Buckin snuck away the cloning technology to make Weevil and he came out as an imperfect clone of Whitebeard since the technology wasn’t finished; but, she was still caught and in order to be forgiven had to provide some of her DNA to perfect the cloning process.

My guess is that IF Marco does indeed go to help Weevil, it will be with Shanks and as payment he will join his crew. The other remnants of the WB pirates can then take care of the island maybe with Weevil since Weevil might like the idea of protecting the island since it's WB's treasure (plus he gets to use Murakumogiri whenever he wants) Edit: the reason why I think it will be with Shanks is because Shanks is still around the area and they might need more firepower for this not to be a suicide mission. Edit 2: Shanks also might want a piece of Greenbull after that Wano stunt Greenbull pulled.

@@amogus1415 I mean comparing Rayleigh and Scopper vs Marco is kinda bad imo. Those 2 were full grown men fighting Rocks and his crew when Marco was a kid, fucking Rayleigh stopped Marco with 1 finger. I don't think Marco ever had the experience that the older pirates had, plus he is primarily a doctor, not a fighter. Beckman we don't even know anything about except that he pointed a gun at Kizaru, Kizaru stopped then Kizaru stopped caring and just instead of being scared, started shooting at Laws sumbarine while they were trying to get away.

@@amogus1415 again he was primarily a doctor so of course he would be weaker than someone who was primarily a fighter. As far as we know conquerors is also a massive boost and Rayleigh has it, we do not know if Marco has it so I'll go with he does not so there's another difference that can affect their strength in battle.

I feel like Ace's dagger was more a survival type knife that he used more for utility. I mean, he was Fire FIST Ace. It sorta matched his hat in terms of vibes and felt like it was there for the aesthetic. We still don't know a lot about the Rocks Pirates' backstory but at the end of the day Miss Buckingham has SOMETHING to bring to the table, may it be power or intelligence, or Xebec wouldn't have had her on his crew. I always thought of her being the actual Warlord rather than Weevil when they were introduced. Or rather they are each 1/2 a warlord and worked as a brain/brawn duo.

He's a golden oldie from when youtube was good. Asking for subs/likes was considered cringe AF for literally years until ad revenue became a bigger thing. He still holds onto those times. Weevil also did a lot of damage to the white beard pirates. Like yeah he could be an asset, but at the same time he messed things up quite a bit for the white beards to want to help him

True, to my knowledge he ended up taking down a number of their allied crews. Given how they view their fellows as family, I doubt that they would be eager to work with him. If they do become allies, then it will likely be in loose terms and only as long as necessary.

002 Jet Link was cool high flying second in command guy straight from early 1900’s New York, 004 Albert being a cyborg filled with weapon tech was awesome and a tragic backstory trying to smuggle himself and his wife out of Germany if I recall during the world war times or maybe the Soviet occupation. 007 Great Britain being a theater guy led to some fun moments helped by his ability to transform into whatever shape he wants Cyborg 009 the cyborg soldier was a great adaption and the one you know tekking, rip shotaro Ishinomori creator of super sentai (power rangers) and Kamen Rider, you died too soon before you could finish God’s War, the final challenge of the 00 Cyborgs Edit:Tekking, please make a one off video about Cyborg 009 it deserves more attention as a classic and you seem to have a lot of fond memories of it with how often you bring it up. Maybe if you want you could do a series on the 9 titular cyborgs and maybe their professor mentor

@@jamesvach6698 stayed very faithful to the artstyle while adapting the major beats to a good conclusion since the manga itself had a lot of one off stuff or mini things that could feel off, heck part of that was a revival past the arc the anime did which was attempted conclusion number… 2 or 3. Director Jun Kawagoe’s known for taking older properties and making some fun adaptions using the best parts of them or making original stories of those that are quite full of fanservice (not the kind most anime fans think of involving women) for the fans of the series

I have heard that apparently some kind of movie was made from this series in the past few years or so. Apparently, it is still popular enough for them to continue using it that way. Perhaps I should look up other things that this director has worked on. At the very least, it should be educational.

It is not talked about too much which is a shame. I found it to be a classic when I was younger, and I still enjoy it. It is one of those anime I like to enjoy when I want to take a break from the bigger ones. Always good to have classics to go back to.

Indeed, which is apparently why the government didn't protect them and why his home was in a terrible state when he was younger. The state it is in when we first saw it is due to his efforts. That being said, the marines seem to be getting worse if they are willing to do things like this openly.

ok, given the official title card and the timeline, i am now convinced that Weevil has parts of Queen DNA in him. Why? Because i can totally see Buckin being a terrible room mate and Queen, Judge and Cesar getting fed up with her antics (Vegapunk is too kind hearted to be pissed about that) to the point that, when she asked "can i have a Whitebeard clone made with this DNA?" Queen simply answered "oh, sure, we'll give you a clone, don't worry" and...i don't know, sprinkled his "lineage factor" in the test tube or something

Her title card said, "self stylized MADS freeloader" So I think she was a clone of herSELF. So I think the other one the vampire one is the main one. Because she looks like the original also she probably just used her big brain to keep her looks and stay the same age. Or maybe the succubus/vampire helps with that. Also maybe that's how she got Whitebeards DNA. And Mrs.Buckyingham either stole it or they gave it to her or maybe just made Weevil for her to get her to leave MADS.

I don't think Edward Weeble being the son of Whitebeard will be the most strangest or shocking family secret to be revealed in One Piece I believe that the reason why the mayor of Luffy's hometown hates pirates so much is that Xebec is the older brother of Mayor Woop Slap or is related to him in someway.

I think with how it was presented in the story that Bakkin was a freeloader that was there but didn't contribute much to the actual science. We can likely draw characteristics from her and her clone to get an idea of what she was like in her younger days.

For all we know, Weevil is not just a clone, but a hybrid clone of select traits from Rocks' main crew i.e. Shiki, Kaido, Big Mom, WANG ZHI!! White beard and Silvers Axe The "bulk/base" of lineage factor could have been from Whitebeard.

If he manages to get to them then that would be a good idea. I do find it interesting how the citizens noted that the marines are acting more like pirates than the actual pirates at this point. It seems that some of the marines in this story are getting worse in their behavior.

@@jamesvach6698 Marines always acted like that; in small number, of course. We don't see it much; however, our first introduction to the Marines was a corrupt Marine Captain. We ran into another one at Arlong Park. It's truly weird that there has been so much corruption in the Marines that neither Sen Goku nor Akainu are aware of it. That's only because of the fact no one is allowed to report on their behavior.

@@travisgames6608 True, but it seems that it is more open in a sense now, as if Akainu in his effort to pursue his sense of justice is deliberately overlooking the darker side of the marines. With Sengoku I get the sense that he was unaware of it to some extent, but Akainu seems like the kind of person who cares about results more than showmanship. It is true there has always been signs of corruption and moral degradation that we have seen mainly because as the audience we get to know more about these things than the characters themselves to some degree. However somehow it seems that more and more of this is coming to light and between those who are in the marines to make things better and those who are corrupt, it seems as though the latter is becoming more prevalent. Maybe it is just me.

Hey tekking, I saw a theory in facebook which basically say that since denjiro contorted his face and hide under the name kyoshiro, ushimaru in the same way change his face and name into koushiro. It makes more sense since oda have yet to confirm ushimaru's age, height, blood type and birthday. The only thing that contadict this is in the wiki ushimaru was labeled deceased, as far as I know this is not directly confirmed as well as koushiro having his origin as east blue.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised anymore, if Oda told us, Weevil was made with Whitebeard's blood, but it was tainted with Big Mom's blood, since I think mentally and by the shape of his body Weevil is closer to Big Mom than to Whitebeard
