perfectly explained...i thought like others ignorant and less knowledgeable person you will say devi durga is shiv-patni parvati... but reality is ..durga is an umbrella term of stree shakti - she is laxmi she is parvati(kali) she is saraswati(gayatri)

Swamiji explains with a beautiful real story on God and His Yogmaya energy. Sakti and Saktiman are one, it cannot be separated, just like fire and it's light and heat. So Ram and Sita, Krishna and Radha, Siv and Parbati, Narayan and Laxmi are one. Again he emphasizes that If we want to make our life successful we should have proper knowledge of spiritual science and material science as well. Because both are required for the maintenance of the mind and body .

Heart touching story from the life of Jagadguru Shankaracharya. We need to try harder to develop the faith - have been left bereft of devotion as the brain has been washed with the rhetoric of the Scientific Process. Mind is so obstinate - it is like the dried up mud of the pot, it can break but extremely difficult to remold.

Modern science and worship of Devi can indeed harmonize.. what is Maa Kushmanda's smile, but the initial non-zero fluctuation that led to our expanding universe? When the universe is so old and large that even black holes have evaporated, here is Maa Dhumavati- Her winnow is empty, Her chariot has no wheels; emptiness and ashes. Yet Devi is beyond space and time; She is Aditi, boundless.

Yogmaya shakti is the divine power of Lord. Shakti and shaktiman is one. The material energy from which the world is made is governed by the yogmaya shakti. It is not non-existent. The world is temporary but does exist. Thanks Swamiji.
