Apart from the body shape, I think the ethnical and racial diversity, the climate which affect the skin and eye colour, and the fashion style also contribute to their different look.

Well in Sweden we start learning English in school at the age of 6 and it goes all the way though high school (age 18/19), so not that strange. A lot of kids start learning even earlier. Also we never dub our TV-shows and movies, we always subtitle them which is a great way to learn English early.

I remember seeing a photo of Rose the Hat in an article or something and I was totally drawn to Google the name "Rose the Hat" which led me down a rabbit hole of discovery. "Doctor Sleep" became one of my favorite films of all time and I cannot get enough of Rebecca Ferguson. She is absolutely magnetic on the screen.

Man, this was a well done video on a VERY deserving woman. As a side note, I find her so mind-numbingly attractive in Doctor Sleep (the hat...her in the hat just does something to me) but since having kids I can no longer watch kids getting hurt or worse in movies so have never been able to fully watch this flick. Quite the quandary for me, either watch one of my favorite actresses own a role & make my eyes happy, or spend a week not able to sleep and have my son wonder why I'm constantly holding him while in tears,

There she had more power than before and he did not like to act as her boss, when she's a lot younger, he acting in TV that's new to him in Covid, while she had the lead and got the hero part.

@@TheBackFocus I know you're American so just wanted to explain this to you: Fanny means Vagina (pussy) in the UK , and because Rebecca Ferguson is half English , which comes from her mother. so when she say's she fanny farted ( she queef! ) in America the word Fanny means a bag that you put stuff into. here is some interesting History: Fanny (sometimes written as fannie) use to be a Person's name. it was more common in the late 1700s to mid 1800s (in rare cases you do see people with that Name today) at some point in the UK , the world became slang for female genitalia.

"Another mini-series she did called The Red Tent" is the only thing mentioned about that show and/or her performance in it, but alas, it's the one I would recommend to watch the most if you're looking for more material of her acting abilities. What she gives us there is basically a masterclass in acting. While it may be my favourite performance from Rebecca, it seems very underrated since practically no one else talks about it. I find that a real shame..

I love Rebecca Ferguson. I think she's one of the most versatile, cerebral actors right now with how she approaches and talks about her craft and the roles she takes. Excellent video! I've been intrigued with Ms. Ferguson since Tom Cruise decided to feature her in the "Mission: Impossible" films. She's become one of the top actresses of her generation, along with Emily Blunt -- as the U.S. hasn't produced much "top tier leading lady bankable" movie talent, since Julia Roberts was followed by Sandra Bullock, Angelina Jolie & Anne Hathaway.

I absolutely adore Rebecca. My love for her crept up on me but now I have a full-blown fixation with her. Not only is she uniquely beautiful and an effortlessly funny/charismatic person, but she's also such a talented actress. She had a little bit of a drama here in Sweden. She was being interview by a major Swedish channel and was really mad that the interviewer wanted to do the interview in Swedish and not English (referring to her not speaking Swedish a lot in her daily life anymore). So a lot of people saw that as diva behaviour. I think I agree, it should not come as a surprise to her that Swedish media of course wants to have the interview in Swedish, especially if it's being filmed. But at the same time I find her absolutely magnetic in her movies, as well as really fun in other English-speaking interviews.

Thank God, it reminded me that Rebecca Ferguson is human after all, with both light and darkness within her. Not the perfect, flawless image that (some) fans always dream of but are ready to hate when that person is not what they want.

She reminds me of an old girlfriend, not dating girlfriend, but a friend who was a girl, back in my youth, so I'm obviously drawn to her for the resemblance, but she is more importantly, a fantastic actor, and I thought she was perfect in Dune. I can't think of a better person to play the role she did.

I've always had a fondness for the Dwayne Johnson Hercules. The movie did have some good sequences and one of John Hurt's last performances; *and* Ian McShane. I still can't get over the bizarre plot dynamic in which the Shield Wall tactic - supposedly only just discovered, although presumably it became part of melee combat doctrine from the point at which shields were invented and able to be crafted in large numbers - is, somehow, an unstoppable military breakthrough that can defeat any opposition. It's not unassailable!
