So to be in a coma and have such an experience, so many have the experience of heaven, or Jesus hugging them, or God showing them so much love! ....while i never have those type of experiences, ...i fear God, and sincerely hope and pray to learn and know that the greatest gift of life is that God is God and since i am still a live ...maybe i can learn enough to be in the heart of God! ...thats the greatest gift anyone can have! "Satan" is the name of a prosecuting angel in the Heavenly Court. Why would God have destroyed all creatures in the entire earth for the acts that angels and woman chose to do ifGod in fact wanted the angels to do what they did. Have you ever considered speaking on our Israelite brothers and sisters taken into captivity via the slave trade with Yolks of iron on their necks told in Deuteronomy 28:48. Shalom me and my family love the work you are doing we have learned so much. We are excited to start learning Hebrew this year as well.

God created forces of evil for the sake of giving man free will and reward for conquering those forces and choosing good. These forces have permission by God to a specific extent to be able and both test man and also accuse against him if man gives in etc. They are preprogrammed and there is a limit and boundary under God's constant supervision to how much they can do to any given person according to God's calculations. He knows the intent of all beings and all spiritual forces are under His constant supervision. Even when the angels ruling over diff nations "go against" one another, it is all under God's plan and supervison, no being at all can do anything without God allowing it to take place, and there is a strict boundary [different for each individual based on their specific circumstances] that these negative forces have no permission to pass when it comes to testing man or accusing against him.

I'd love to know more on how the Jewish view compares to the Muslim one. From what I know, they seem to put a lot of onus on Satan (who being a djinn rather than an angel, freely chose to be evil), yet God seems to very actively endorse the state of affairs created by this conflict of interests.

Interesting. Thank you. Im a former evangelical Christian who has become a progressive Christian. Pacticing methodist who values scholarship when approaching the bible over populist views. I part ways with so many Christians when it comes to the belief in Satan. The dualism has never made sense to me. And honesty i struggle with Paul in the New Testament because he really threw in a lot of confusing stuff and often contradicts himself frequently, yet a huge chunk of Christianity has made him hero supreme of the faith instead of scrutinizing him where he deserves some scrutiny.

Please explain the Judyism view/meaning of Zechariah 3:2.

Some mistakes of the rabbi First of all, we Christians do not believe that the devil fights God in terms of nature. According to what is written in the Bible, the devil tries to divert people from the path of goodness, he is of his own free will and not because God sent him to do so. You can see in the book of Job that the devil himself is the one who wanted to divert Job and entered into an argument with God about why Job is righteous, the devil thought that Job was righteous because God gave him money, children. Only after Satan complained to God why Job is righteous, God allows him to test Job. So it is clear that Satan wants to lead him astray and God does not send him. Otherwise, it would have been written that God sent Satan to lead Job away. Second, humans were created good without sin. Sin is considered bad in God's eyes and He hates it according to the Bible If you look at the seven days of creation, they ended with God seeing that it was good. The first Adam and Eve had free will before they understood sin. Because God gave him the commandment to eat and not to eat, to do and not to do. Adam's choice was whether to eat from the tree of knowledge or not to eat. But the Bible testifies that Adam knew what he had sinned only after he ate from the tree of knowledge. That is why God gave man free will without sin. Third, sin is created by man's self-thought First a thought, then the desire is created, after the desire, an action, then a result. The serpent started by sowing a thought in Eve, after sowing a thought a desire arose in her to be God and to know everything like God. Then she decided to eat from the fruit she picked and ate it, that's the act. Then came the result of eating the fruit which was death. Death is the sin of disobedience to God. 4 Satan is mentioned as God's enemy Not because he is as powerful as God or equal to him, but because that Satan rebels against God and wants to be God. God is one and there is no one like God, he sustains all creation and Satan himself is a creation of God in the New Testament as well. You can see how Satan tells Jesus that the things he has are given to him. When the devil tested Jesus in the desert he told him this Luke chapter 4 verse 6 All this is "given" to me and I can give it to whoever I want. The one who brought him the power is God himself He has nothing of his own. And also in Vision Yohanan, chapter 13, section 5 The man of sin was given only 42 months to do his deed. The king of demons is the devil himself, he is also called a demon. But you can see that the demons were afraid and asked Jesus to have mercy on them. There is no battle between God and Satan. The entire Bible shows us that whoever does not do as God commands is a rebel. And the devil decided like many people that he is not interested in God's commandments and wants to live according to his will and does not believe in God's divinity and God's law.

There was no need for an omnipotent god to torture Job, especially based on what anyone else said. God is clearly not omnipotent, because he did not see Job's sincerity and succumbed to the instigation of another to test Job. This alone should make people think that something is terribly wrong with the concept of God.

It wasn’t the Jews spreading their religion and scriptures. It was the gentiles spreading the Jews religion and scriptures.

According to Hebrew, the word satan means adversary or accuser. If we read the canonical biblical scriptures of the torah and new testament, if not directly, indirectly this word can be applied to the devine supreme god itself too. When humans disobey Its divine instructions, as anyone can read the scriptures, It (the supreme divine god) can be their adversary or accuser for not following Its commands. How ever, it is clear that the most high god pre_destined all humans' purposes on earth and their destiny after they pass away. The reasons for their ability to follow the supreme god and some others fail to be found perfect in Its eyes are just catalyst principles preplanned by It (Most high god) just to create distinctions between Its own purpose and the created beings. Therefore, the name satan doesn't only refer to Lucifer who is believed to be once one of the top most the most high god's Angeles. It can also express humans' and the supreme divine god's extreme negative practices. # the word satan is not a personal name of one evil entity. Instead, it is an ajective word for any evil doer entities.

The devil or Satan in the NT is largely used to personify sin though sometimes it is used of a real person e.g. Peter (get thee behind me) or Jewish opposition. Jesus didn't destroy a supernatural being on his death on the cross but he did destroy sin. The Christadelphians are a Christian sect who look at the bible from Jewish eyes as it should be and so would agree with the Rabbi except on his view that the NT teaches a supernatural devil. Superficially maybe but personification can be demonstrated and it must ring true with the rest of scripture.
