His supposed "negatives" were power and twitch speed to play the 5 tech. 🤣 I didn't know anything about him until yesterday but as soon as I started to see videos of his play, Smith was immediate thought, and someone that people are typically compared to. Just remember the production we got from him from six or seven years.

The fact that Frazier was an all state wrestler only losing once in his freshman season is huge for a lineman! Great parallel skill.

My favorite is Roman wilson due to the fact I’m a Michigan fan and I believe he’s more nfl ready (tools and work ethic) than johnson was when we drafted him so it should be an upgrade over him in the long run if not immediately. Not to mention his 85% separation vs man was highest in this class. Also, I was mocking mccormick to us a good bit when I could get him just do to having 90+ off grades for run and pass block.

It's definitely an A or A+ draft as we sit here right now. Only time will tell for sure, though. If we can somehow get another WR in free agency, maybe Sutton for a 3rd or 4th rounder next year, and get another CB in free agency, maybe Stephon Gilmore or Adoree' Jackson, then we are set up very nicely to make a run at a Superbowl. I love what the Steelers are doing this off-season! Let's Go Steelers!!! 🏈🏆

Zach Frazier is my favorite Steelers pick of the draft. We've needed a C since Pouncey. Overall, a very solid draft. Incredibly happy with it just like I was with last year's. Not mad with the picks and they really fixed the O-Line so I'm thrilled with that.

Frazier was my favorite pick too. Not a WVU fan but somehow saw a bunch of their games last year and this dude impressed me. Has that toughness and a bit of a bully on the field too. A little Broderick like in that perspective imo

I agree. Zach frazier was my favorite pick too! Im a penn state fan. Was at beaver stadium for wvu- psu opener last season and frazier was opening gaping holes against what turned out to be one of the best defenses in the country. I was sitting there thinking I hope the steelers can draft this kid and they did. I thought the steelers were going to get amarius mims in the 1st rd but cincy took him at 18th. Then they drafted fautanu. Didnt know much about him. Don't stay up to watch west coast games. Saw he was a top 15 pick who slid to 20th. You have to love the emotion of a young man in tears because he got drafted by his favorite team. Payton wilson was a steal in 3rd rd. Roman wilson is a national champion. McCormack, Lee and watt I don't know much about. Hope they can become contributors in a couple seasons

I really REALLY LOVE all the first 4 picks, like the last 3… but Payton Wilson is by far my favorite pick based on value and need. He has the potential to be the next Ryan Shazier and a complete game wrecker. Fautanu and Frazier I love because of what Deke said, Jones, Frazier, and Fautanu are now going to be together and build familiarity over the next 4 years. Great draft. Great great draft. So was last year. Omar Khan is straight killing it.

The fact we were able to sit and let frazier fall to us at 51 instead of getting antsy and giving up picks to move up and get him allowed us to get Payton wilson late 3rd. Surprisingly he was there but because of how it all played out Wilson is a for sure A+ pick. Love this draft as well as a few of the undrafted prospects. We're building a very strong young core of players.

A++ I love the draft picks this year. Also love the un drafted picks. If it wasn’t for all the quarterbacks drafted in the first round. Most of these Steelers picks would have went earlier. The cornerback that was picked hits and tackles like a linebacker. The wide receiver pick is fast, great in the in zone and has great hands. Hope to see these players especially the quarterbacks including the one un drafted.

You don't really know how good the draft is or isn't until year 3. It's projected as good A+. But, how the projected value pans out has yet to be determined.

The only reason I don't love the Roman Wilson pick is because I still really want to see Calvin Austin III. He got hurt right away, so last year was basically his rookie season. And we saw him running open plenty of times with that speed, and our QBs last year just could not find him. I really believe Russ moon balls to CA3 could be awesome.

Like Winmon as well. Has speed off edge, great tenacity and chase down ability. Plumlee is interesting inside 20 as a runner, great elusiveness, rcvd highest bonus from Steelers, 35k.

Let’s not forget to give Andy Weidl his due for these 2 drafts as well. Love how great he’s been for identifying talent throughout the draft

It's just a great draft for a team that was picking fairly low, but who hasn't figure out QB yet. The best thing you can do to sort out your QB situation is to have enormous men to block for them. That gives any QB, whether drafted or FA, to perform at their best. And even if they aren't generational talents, they can still be plenty good enough to win lots of games and make a run in the playoffs. Well, we have a bunch more depth on the line, we have some good running backs, and we have some QBs who are mobile and can make plays with their legs. I don't think that will be a top 5 offence, but I do think it'll be plenty enough to see the Steelers run to 10 or 11 wins. And if you can do that while also assessing the two QBs you do have, both of whom have the potential to be good, then that's a successful season. If Wilson and Fields both scrub out... Well, we'll do it all again. Pick up FA QBs with potential from bad teams, and improve everything else in the draft. It's actually not very hard to manage your salary cap when you don't have big time QB contracts, so you can just pick up guys, slot them in behind a strong line and see what they can really do.

Mr. Deke I'll start with the Steelers also had the third overall most athletic team give there RAS rating the out of ten athletic metric they're using. Favorite pick: Zach Frazier, because he's a staple, he has a mean streak Najee, and Jaylen haven't had the luxury yet in their careers to have a center as physical, durable, and mean, and the run game is going to be through the roof throw Fatanu in the equation we will probably lead the NFL in rushing, then add Arthur Smith offense that leans on playaction the Steelers should be right there in the mix of Superbowl contending deep in the post season. Best pick: obviously Troy Fatanu and I think he'll be a left tackle he has all the tools the long arms he's not too tall so like Beachum the QB has a great view to throw over him he's a left tackle atw. The sleeper: I think Ryan Watts is alot like Ike Taylor, and it just sp happens Ike will ve helping him develope, he is a freak of nature and will start opposite Joey Porter Jr., and Watts pro comparison easily L'Jarius Sneed. UDFA gem: Beanie Bishop Jr WVU first team All-American starting slot week one. He's Mike Hilton 2.0 that can cover better, and is faster. Roman Wilson: A+ he'll easily grab 700 yards and 6 TD's as a rookie, he's the closest thing to Hines Ward I've see yet just snappy route runner and hes tough. Pickens and Wilson are almost like Plaxico and Ward we're always rewriting the blueprint. Payton Wilson: A+ he's like a supercharged Robert Spillane or a white Ryan Shazier he's going to be part of one of the best Steelers lb groups of all time Watt, High-Smith, Wilson, Queen, Herbig and this Jacoby Windmon MSU he's good to be a preseason stud another gem definitely, thats ridiculous idk how we don't make the Superbowl. Mason McCormick: A+ he's great any one of our lineman go do M&M can come in and I doubt the offense skips a beat at all. He's probably the most versatile lineman in the class Logan Lee: A he sets us up for the future Keannu Benton, Logan Lee, D'Marvin Leal, Isaiah Loudermilk are the futue of the line, givem we'll probably draft a defensive lineman in the next class to add to that. Dejaun Edwards A+ i think Edwards could be a thousand yard runner behind this line, and we'll be our third string RB John Rhys-Plumlee: A I called this and he's going to be third string QB I think he is actually going to he another preseason star and Justin Fields will be put on notice.

I love this draft and last year’s. We added some good free agents, too. I see another signing soon. That being said, the other GMs are not afraid of Omar. That’s absurd. Other teams, like the Ravens, always have players seemingly fall to them. It’s about staying the course and focus. The Steelers are now doing a much better job on that. Credit Andy a lot. The Steelers are modeling the Eagles, after all.

When I saw that the Bungles selected Mims, they probably thought they were screwing over Pittsburgh (again), but I think we got the better player with Fautanu. Great draft this year. Looks like next year we'll focus on D Line early.

A lot of the Steelers take bad angles chasing splash plays - Payton Wilson takes great angles in addition to that speed. 👍🏻

Hines Ward didn’t have a acl so definitely not worried about that the medical industry is crazy nowadays anyway. Also just saw the free agents we got after the draft not bad at all. 🖤💛🖤💛

This was a solid "A" for me. They were patient and got the players they valued. I like Frazier the best closely followed by Troy F!

I can’t decide between Fautanu or Frazier . I’ll go with Frazier cause I couldn’t believe he fell and he elevates the Fautanu pick , if your soft in the middle the whole line suffers . The O-line is all about teamwork , chemistry, and toughness . 3 things analytics don’t measure . Hell start day one fill our biggest hole and just brings a sense of relief . The Wilson’s and Mckormick pick all A+ in my book as well .

we get an A for this draft, no doubt our Oline is going to dominate! we're gonna control the clock and Najee and Warren will both feed. i would not be suprised to see both over 1000 yards. i entirely believe this Oline with Fautanu and Jones as bookends and Frazier between Seamalu and Daniels... paired with our D... we are back! our Oline will be one of the best in the league and our D will stay fresh and dominate even more as a consequence. we are in for a great season. i see us taking the North and making it far in playoffs if not the whole way. its gonna be saaweettt! here we go!🖤💛

Drafts grades are great...but the production is only thing that matters

Im a bit confused on everybody's Roman Wilson take, He is 5'11" and 190 people referring to him like hes a munchkin and can only play slot. If I recall, AB was 5'10" and 180ish...Diontae the same, I get he took a big percentage of his snaps in the slot, But i dont think his size and definitely not his speed or ability to create seperation should keep him from being tested on the outside.
