I think my biggest gripe with graphic designers or online artists is they say stuff like don’t work for free but then their work is just not good. That same community got mad when people were using AI to make profile pictures because it was “taking away from their jobs” as if they were going to make something better than the AI. I think people have their priorities mixed right now and want to get paid for something that is either generic or not good.

Idk if you guys will even think of this but album of the week from a viewer He’s the first one The Death of Peace of Mind - Bad Omens I think it’s a good one because it’ll take you both out of your elements of music a little bit. Also great episode! Been in a rut recently with my job and I hate that I don’t have time to do my hobbies anymore or as much. But honestly it’s just because of me being lazy and you two just talking about this inspires me to just be less lazy so thank you Hitch and Maniac ❤❤

Man I completely get the work for free concept. I’m a photographer as a side hustle and there is such a thing as paying your dues. Which in this industry means working for free to get the exposure and experiences. The paid work comes with time but the connections and experiences you get along the way are what is going to bring you to the forefront and make people want to use your services.

Facts on the working for free topic. Your valuable skills aren't so valuable if nobody has recognized it, and it's never going to be recognized if you aren't somehow putting it out there for people to see. And as Maniac said, connections are key, your return on a project isn't always just what your cheque says, it could be new doors opened or long term relationships formed that will make up the difference in the future.

People look at the esports industry like a regular job. It’s a passion industry. Everything is running on passion. If you’re not passionate enough don’t look to get into the industry. Hecz quit his job for a COD2 sniping clan and now he runs one of the largest esports orgs in the industry

Hitch, I’ve been really wanting to host an optic/ cdl watch party in my local area. Potentially a bar in NYC. I don’t know how to get word out there if I plan some event and would love if you could shout this out in one of your streams or videos. Maniac has NO idea just how good the aim, centering, and game awareness the CDL pros have. He needs to watch Dashy streaming and he'll understand right away how they're able to beat cheaters in ranked. The man's aim is basically aimbot in and of itself.... combine that with his game/map awareness, his centering, and his movement(snaking, jump shotting, etc...) and it's GG.
@LoGiCcLaN2
@LoGiCcLaN2 Жыл бұрын
I know CDL pros are gross but I don't think they're is a infinite ceiling in cod. I think the programming and aim assist for control has a limit barrier that disallows unlimited potential like MnK players have.
