When Man City signed Gundogan he had a serious injury at the time that kept him out for 6-8 months yet Pep was adamant that he still wanted him, shows you just how much he rated him. 6 years later Pep is saying things like "Gundo isn't just a phenomenal player, but he's a phenomenal human being as well"

Doesn’t show anything other than he was taking a risk signing him. Its easy to say in hindsight it was a great decision. But in reality it wasn’t. Anybody with a brain will see this as well

Of course Gundogan would back Robert Lewandowski for the Balon d'Or, he was on the pitch in 2013 when Robert Lewandowski scored 4 against Real Madrid. Both those men fought in the trenches together in Dortmund.

Underrated by most non city fans, intelligent with the ball,technically very good, always available as an outlet shifts the ball quickly and is a goal threat when playing in the last third. Thanks Gundo

Gundogan that season where u went to the champions league finals with Dortmund u became one of my favorite midfielders and to see u at the club I love has been wonderful.
