I was classmates with this really chill kid from Indonesia. He was really quiet, played soccer, he didn’t have a very attention seeking or bold personality. He moved back to Indonesia after a bit, but we stayed friends on social media. Anyway, he ended up becoming a famous actor in Indonesia and all these random fan girls would try to add me on Instagram bc he follows me 😂 He has a lot of fans. It was very unexpected from the boy who everyone liked in school but never said more than like 10 words.

I've met a few celebrities because they came into my job. I met Emma Stone and actually made her icecream cone. She didn't want any attention at all and was wearing a hat clothes where you could barely see her. I've met Michael Fasbender when he came in to get icecream, we got to get pictures with him, he was cool and was happy that we noticed who he was. I also got up close to Hugh Jackman and took pictures when he visited my city he was across the street from my job. There were many other celebrities that came to my job when I wasn't there that I would be told about. If anyone is curious I worked at an icecream shop in Savannah, GA called Leopold's. The place is extremely popular and on top of that the college SCAD is a big deal and when they host their film festival a lot of celebrities show up. Also lots of movies are filmed in Savannah so that also brings in celebrities. Savannah is a beautiful city

Whole bunch of my classmates in high school met President Obama before he was President, because we were in New Hampshire and the primaries get wild there. For me, when I was like 8 years old I got to meet a bunch of senators who'd just written a book about being a woman in the senate, because my mom worked at Borders and organized book signings.

I've met all the members of The Lumineers (college friends with my cousin). Chillest and most down to earth people I've ever had a conversation with. I also grew up knowing Nash & Hayes Grier as well as Sean Shutt (viners/social media people) -- all lived in my hometown / Sean went to my high school. I've also met Waka Flocka (he stayed a whole weekend at ECU in my university town of Greenville NC) and he partied with us in clubs and house parties in 2019. Such a nice and chill guy. Being a waitress at a very frequented place in Charlotte NC comes with some perks -- meeting practically everyone in NASCAR, panthers players, and some country singers. I wouldn't say any 'celebrity' I've met was rude or mean. Just some take more time to hold a conversation than others. Some of their wives, girlfriends on the other hand are downright deplorable. My dad and brother on the other hand (with my dad doing concert security in the 1960's and 70's and my brother working on movies) put my experiences to shame.

The touring bassist of The Black Keys taught a class of highschoolers for a single year and that happened to be my senior year. By far the best teacher i have ever had he was always considerate of everyone and understanding just made things fun and relaxed all the time great guy.

I’ve met more famous people 20 some years ago. I had a ridiculous and embarrassing conversation with Mila Kunis, but she was still polite and sweet! I was invited to Zach De La Rocha’s home along with my parents and sister, he was such a gentleman and lovely host. I had such a huge crush on him at 17, that I froze and forgot how to speak though. I saw Alicia Silverstone thrifting at the same place as me but didn’t want to bother her, definitely a fan though! I met Charlize Theron a little more recently but her vibes were highly stand offish.

I met Wilford Brimley when I was a kid but I didn't know he was famous, he visited Alaska and passed through my village. I stepped outside the store waiting for my mom to finish shopping and he was on his way inside, he saw me and gave me a lefty handshake. Everyone was getting autographs and pictures with him. One of my High School Mentors and all round one of my favorite people is Danbert Nobacon! He was in the band Cumbawamba, which you might know from their song Tubthumping. He's a Brilliant guy and I absolutely adore him, I hold his opinion in the highest regard. I met him through my local theatre where he works on music with the Director of the theatre and he volunteers to help the High School Musical every year.

This video reminded me that my half brother used to be best friends with P-Nut from 311, and he almost joined the band himself but chose not to. Apparently P-Nut was at our house quite often, but I really have no memory of that.

back in march, in lax on the way to the netherlands to go to italy, i actually met shawn mendes. what’s funny is this was during the whole “lyle lyle crocodile” memes going around on tiktok. i almost jinx meeting him in a way. on my way to the gate, in lax, there were some sort of alligator / crocodile (i couldn’t tell) murals around. i had recorded a short video of them as i walked by saying the silly “la-la-lala-la” phrase hoping to send it to my sister as a joke. around the same time, there were ads of mendes so i, of course, recorded again quoting the meme. approximately two hours later, at my gate soon to board, there stood shawn quietly away from the seating area. it was mind blowing to me that just a couple hours earlier, i had made not one, but two stupid jokes about the movie he had starred in just before meeting him. he was very nonchalant, seemingly by himself (possibly a manager with him), and very reserved. not many actually went up to him, many let him be. but when one would ask for a photo with him, he would happily do so. i took a photo with him and he is the chillest and sweetest celeb i have met. i had a small conversation with him before leaving him be. i found out that my friend, who was in first class, actually sat near him. later on, when we landed in amsterdam, there were advertisements of him everywhere as if they knew he had arrived. a couple days in italy, my mom sends me a photo of shawn she found online of him walking around amsterdam soon after landing. even while still in italy, that one famous makeup youtuber, nikki tutorials (she’s from the netherlands) had posted saying she had just met shawn and she was having dinner with him. it was all a crazy coincidence! he was definitely a celeb i would love to meet again sometime.
