I thought it was just an actor getting paid to be Black Noir

Guys, they told us Noir would be coming back as a completely new character like, 2 years ago. This isnt a mystery, there's nothing to theorize about. The question was answered before it could even be asked.

Considering how Noir IIs on heavy Compound V with enhanced human strength now I’m willing to bet he’s not just a stand in actor, my guess is either it’s a clone of the original Erving or it’s just another of Godolkin University student with similar powers to Sam that we haven’t met yet.

It's the exact same actor. Nathan Mitchell is still the guy under suit. If you have X-ray on in prime video, it tells you who all of the actors are on the screen.

I honestly think their combining the clone thing from the comics with a twist. This is a clone of the original Black Noir made to believe he is some actor who was found out he has the exact same skillset as the original. In short, Black Noir is still Black Noir.

My personal theory is that it's a clone of the original, who just isn't as good at being quiet. This entirely stems from the fact that in the comics, Black Noir was a clone of Homelander

He’s just speaking now because his character died so now he can just play a regular ass dude with Supe serum replacing the original Black Noir. I don’t think anyone understands this. This new Noir doesn’t sound anything like Sam. New Noir is still played by the same actor, just acting as a new supe underneath the mask. My best bet is that Sam will eventually take the role of Noir, as he’s seen in the trailer for this season and I doubt this new current Noir will act all badass and not talk as we see in the fight against Butcher. Or as Cate is in the trailer, she’ll probably use her power on this new Noir to stop talking, follow orders and not feel pain.
