A sort of, mad genius who has dedicated his life to all things candy, and the products he produces are some of the most delicious, high quality foods that you could ever get your hands on? Well hold on to your Wonka bars folks, because… we have the real life Willy Wonka right there-- It’s Giovanni Ferrero, and his company oversees the production of Nutella, Tic Tac mints, and of course the Ferrero Rocher! But that’s only the beginning of the products that are under the watchful eye of Mr. Ferrero-- in 2018, his company acquired the U.S. candy business Nestle, and that means Baby Ruth, Raisonettes, and more are all owned by the same guy who owns… Nutella. So, just who is he? He’s an italian businessman who at the time of writing this video… is worth 34.7 BILLION dollars! Wow… who’d-a-thought that being a candy connoisseur could make you so rich? Well, apparently, it can. And it looks like the money is going to be staying in the family-- as Ferrero’s two sons are interested in taking over the family business one day!
