Champ Labs and FRAM are now owned by the same parent company First Products. I cant buy a Super Tec (CHAMP LABS) oil filter in Canada for my Toyota, but they make the Canadian Tire OE Plus Oil Filters. They are CHAMP FILTERS and are as good as the Super Tec filters if not better. CHAMP makes some very good oil filters.

The SuperTech I have used for my Toyota is made by Wix in the U.S.

@@MrZman0004 If you go to Wix's website and cross reference the number of the filter, it comes us as "SuperTech - Wix"

I always get a laugh from those channels that insist you must use the most expensive high performance all-steel, no plastic or rubber parts, name brand oil filters. They're definitely better, but IMO they're overbuilt. A quality oil filter like SuperTech or any of the name brand "regular" oil filters are completely adequate. I had a 2007 Ford F150 with the 5.4L 3 valve engine (widely regarded as the worst engine Ford ever built, and very sensitive to dirty oil) go over 300K miles trouble free using the cheap oil filters and 5,000 mile oil changes.

Yep, use them all the time. Made in USA. Just the other day I had my wife stop by the auto store to get a jug and filter. Wix made in Cheena. :((

Champ is a joke for a brand name. I bought that oil filter and paint was the only thing sealing the bottom, The spotwells burnt through the metal.

Wix and Champion labs were the only ones that I have seen that were making filters for Supertech. I also heard that Fram did, but I haven't seen any proof of it from filters that were cut open.

These filters are known for their synthetic nanofiber media, which offers high filtration efficiency and durability. Additionally, AMSOIL sources components from other manufacturers. For example, the canisters for some AMSOIL filters are made by WIX, and the filtration media inside can be produced by Donaldson. Let me know if it changed
