During the height of the pandemic, I decided to go all-out on a home rig based on the Rockboard gear. I got two boards, the modules, and the Quickmounts. It’s a very robust system with a few caveats. First, some of the odd size mounts use up more real estate than you expect. Similarly, the clips on the underside also use up a lot of real estate. The adhesive pad isn’t great in comparison to the screw on mounts. Finally, you will still need a good assortment of screws, in fact I shopped online for several pedal screws.

How many patch cables or power cables will those clips hold?

Hard to say... It depends on the cable size. With the flat patch cables, I'd guess 3 to 5. Obviously, you'll fit more power cables though. But, for best practice, I'd separate these out so you're keeping your power and audio away from each other. Hope that helps!

Wow..Hang on... look at 5:45!! So if these silicon pads can be reused and clearly are strong enough to hold a pedal and dont leave residue on the pedal !! What the hell.. Why dont we just use that stuff.. it sounds ideal like magic.

Good point ; ) The screws and mounting plates are definitely the more robust option. But the silicon pads are certainly a handy back up if your pedal doesn't fit the screw holes.

@@guitariq You mean the ten thousand times more expensive option :-) . Also those pads are so strong you could put your pedals on the ceiling and they would hold and not fall. To hold a pedal on a board you would require about two pieces the size of a penny and they would cost less than a penny. Being so small they would not stop the pedal being taken off with ease. Regarding being reusable ,, I think prob best to just use a fresh piece.
