The craziness is that normally RDG has cheap games. This should be cheaper than AAA Clock but it's more expensive than all the AAA clock re releases combined!

I'd say £1.75 is a good price for a decent game, this however is not that and for most people would be a waste of their money regardless of the price.

I actually almost bought it, I wish listed first, thought about it, then checked to see what it was like. But after the trailer I knew something was up. So yeah even a grown person like me was almost scammed, it looked like a great deal. This is a new low for shovel ware games on consoles

to be honest, I think it's cute ^^ I find the productivity app "not really games" games charming, and this is definitely some cute vibes. it's something to fiddle around with every so often, even if I would be able to take better notes or reminders someplace else. they're also adding more apps over time with little free updates. they've added an extra little game which is a very rudimentary (and admittedly janky) snake game that's cat themed. it's just all so cute. I don't regret dropping 2 bucks on a silly little oddity like that. I would have preferred it to be freeware, but I'm not too upset that it was just a couple bucks. I will, however, admit the whole manipulative thing they're doing with the perpetual "look, we couuldddd be gouging you for $40, but it's on sale for just $2!" is pretty sleazy and I wish they wouldn't do that. once one sale period ends, a new one begins, to keep up the illusion that you're getting a good deal lololol

This is honestly so cool to probably only me but I am disappointed it’s not a game designed to be In a fake computer desktop and just a literal os. I was expecting some kind of story behind interacting with the computer

I bought this at a cheap ass discount because I thought this was a game that like… was a bunch of computer related mini games of sorts. I didn’t realize it was genuinely just…. Bullsh*t stuff a computer can do basically

If this was like the Nintendo DS browser game cart (that came with the GBA memory expansion cart) and nOS had a browser, with HTML 5 support and had full touchscreen controls it would have been slighly worth it

wanted to say, drawing in MS Paint is very easy, least compared to using a thumbstick since using a mouse not a joystick. Then I started drawing in MS Paint with a mouse and still draw with a mouse.

MS Paint is great for doing pixel artwork but using a thumbstick is impossible, harder than using an etch a Sketch lol

Got it today for $1.99 and I'm so glad I didn't pay $39.99 for it. This is not what I was hoping for, and in my opinion it just sucks.

I like the sliding puzzle, drawing and customization. Makes me feel like my switch is a little tablet minus the web browser. Colors live with that sonar pen for one drawing mission a day at $50 launch was far worse.

Young kids who's parents don't want to give them phones is about only market for this (Grasping at straws). Not as insidious as asset flippers or lying screenshots etc. in my opinion, and shouldn't be grouped with them. They're upfront about what it is, and I don't see why it should be banned from the eShop, shit or not.

Nah I wouldn't group this with the asset flippers, its just a shame to see them employing the whole shock tactic shite with the pricing and using it to get the game constantly on the sales page, I think RDG are better than that.

RedDeerGames is so shady a publisher. They just released another Bit Orchard bundle. That makes it the 8th Bundle of Bit Orchard. Instead of releasing smaller dlc content, they just keep messing with their customers. They would rather fool we customers rather than retain them at all costs is what seems RedDeerPublishing is about. Those decision makers now should just leave to EA, and leave the honest publishing energy to those who care.

3:54 sliding puzzle has harder difficulty with 16 and 25 pieces. It's fun for what it is, an app, and you treat it as a video game.

So I've been told but it's not enough to save it from being trash IMO. I wouldn't exactly call it fun, maybe mildly amusing for a fleeting moment, and I reviewed it for what it was, I even mention in the intro that its not so much a game and aims to bring additional functionality to the Switch, Aka an app of sorts.

@@SwitchStars exactly, a working app of sorts for $2 is fine. Please don't pretend you haven't seen broken $50-$70 releases in the present day. House of the dead and drawn to life actually had to update to add touch screen controls, which this started with. I treat it as a novelty like game and watch, which surprisingly has had price drops over the years. Digital equivalent puzzle and watch even does a digital unboxing worth $2. If nOS reverts to $40, yeah that is ridiculous. Having a calculator and more is already an improvement on what you mentioned at said beginning with the calculator/alarm apps that do nothing extra, but you call this "trash". It would also help to compare to something better that does similar on switch.

@@MrVariant It's not $2 though it's $40, they just discounted it. Will it stay discounted permanently? If so, how scummy of them to try and trick consumers instead of pricing it fairly upfront. And if not, then this is a great review because there will be a day where it will cost $40 and even you agree that that is ridiculous.

@@MrVariant The game stays on the eShop even when the sale is gone, and so will this video. If it was $2 without discounts, you would have seen a different review. But it's not $2, it's $40 but discounted to $2 temporarily

Thanks Mark. I think they just take whatever they can get, which includes some sub-par titles they try to milk. They do have some decent games and I really think they should focus on promoting quality over quantity.
