Hello I have a question, my immigrant visa was issued on March 19, and I am trying to make the payment of my Immigrant Fee but the page throws me error, I call USCIS to help me to solve it they ask me for my A# and I give them the one that appears on my visa and they tell me that they can not find my A#, I go to the consulate, they check my visa and tell me to contact USCIS that everything is fine, I go back and contact USCIS and they tell me that they can not find it and that my case only comes out as in application, what can I do? I already have my visa in hand and everything approved, can I travel even if I have this problem and solve it there?

Hello, Adrian, In our experience, you can travel with your immigrant visa so long as you are still within the validity dates indicated. We would expect that the electronic system should be updated after a couple of weeks at the latest so that your information should appear correctly and you should be able to pay the fee and order your card. If you continue to have this problem after a few days, it could be that the A number on your NVC documents is different than the A number on your immigrant visa. We have seen some cases where NVC for some reason assigns a different A number, even though ultimately the A number assigned by USCIS is the final and correct one. Perhaps searching paperwork to see if a different A number appears and trying that one could help.
