and If you're married certain states wont grant you wic , foodstamps etc because they factor in both you and your spouses income for however many people are in your household. It may even be hard for your kid to get fafsa in college because of the income taxes (most married people file jointly) and that means more money in home and less money the gov will pay. They assume that a two people , two income home can function and dont need help. Thats why when people say Marriage is just a piece of paper IT IS NOT. Its a lifetime committment with alot of responsibilities behind it.

Technically they didn’t lie, depending on the state you live in the husband is automatically deemed the father and they’ll put him on the birth certificate. In the state of Texas you’re not even allowed to get a divorce if your pregnant.

When you’re married and have a child it’s legal considered the husband’s child. She’s going to have to get the husband to go through the process of legally stating to a court that he isn’t the child’s biological father. They might even require a dna test from her husband.

*Folks, Life is too short to get hung up over a cheater or deal with them in any capacity.* Cheater don’t care about your well being so it’s in your best interest to know and understand that wholeheartedly. It’s really that simple. The idea that someone would refer to a cheater’s carefully executed plan of betrayal “a mistake” is an insult to their hard work, dedication and best efforts to avoid detection. The mistake is them getting caught. Cheaters are nervous, embarrassed, trying to escape, not poised, not confident or articulate when they’re busted. I bet they don’t exhibit those qualities while engaging in their infidelity. Cheaters are likely excited, poised, confident, enjoying themselves, passionate, etc, while betraying their significant other. Therefore, the mistake is them getting exposed and they’re probably sad that they’re no longer able to do so, but they’ll attempt to convince you that they’re sad because they wronged you and they’re remorseful, lol. You can’t help but give cheater credit for their ability to deceive, *it’s almost masterful.* Either way, forgive them and move on with your life. They can find redemption in their next relationship.
