They are invasive and by law you are not allowed to release them back into the water. Within a few years that pond will be overrun with goldfish.

Tbh I would’ve just kept it and make a temporary pond will I start building another slightly bigger one but not like one of those massive koi ponds like a 8foot by 4 foot pond around mabye 3.5 feet deep some Lilly pads a Tiny waterfall ect

I have such a small pond with goldfish and golden tench in my garden. It's beautyful, indeed. But it should have 3000 litres (at least!), filtration and a deep area (1,5m/5ft) for the winter.
