Let's remember that these two aren't enemies but need each other to keep wrestling interesting. The rivalry is great and both are high level wrestlers so let's just enjoy them making this rematch a hyped event which boosts the sport.

How do invitations to WNO work?

They give it to the number one guy and the number 1 guy chooses his opponent I guess? OR they take the number 1 and 2 guy at the time in the weight class and they give them the invite. Since Bassett was the number 1 guy and the number 2-4 guy entered while Bassett didn’t, that’d still make Bassett the number 1 and maybe they let him do the honors of giving it to the winner of Fargo or something?

@@xzjayz7925They give it to the top two guys, but sometimes the top guys decline, hence why last year we saw Jaxen Forrest(#1) vs the Raney brother(#4). Bassett is #1, and Zepeda was #3, and he beat the #2 guy(Manville) in the semis earlier today

Go ahead a name drop someone Bassett beat that has teched Zepeda. As far as I’m concerned and knowledgeable, he’s only lost to Valencia who I believe he’s beaten before and it wasn’t by tech either. Bassett has beaten Valencia and they have all been close matches, in freestyle. What r you talking about exactly?
