The heartbroken couple frequently visits his Oklahoma grave to place tokens of their love, items like pinwheels and tiny toys, as a way to cope with his loss. But soon they noticed something strange: The sentimental items were going missing. "This pinwheel doesn't mean a whole lot to the next person, but it does mean a lot to the person who placed it there," Tashanna told Inside Edition. #InsideEdition

That's subjective. To me, the baby is dead. It's no good to give a dead child a pinwheel. What if the that old man was a 5 year old kid who took it? You gonna make that 5 year old apologize and say they're a bad person? I know I wouldn't and I wouldn't go find the parents to make them apologize either. The 5 year old would get better use it of it then my deceased infant, but then again it's subjective to the individual and how much you wanna make a huge deal out of it.

It doesn't matter if it's a 1,000 dollar pinwheel or a dollar. Stealing is stealing. I don't think any of you would like to see items missing from a deceased realtives grave. Put yourself in their shoes. You wouldn't like it either. Nobody would, especially replacing the item numerous times.

This hits home, since my little brother died before he was born. So to see people defending him is absolutely ridiculous, in my opinion. Sure, giving things to the dead doesn’t benefit them, but how do you know they’re not looking down on you? And just grateful that you’re still coming, and caring for them? Or, if you don’t believe in that stuff, imagine it like this. It may not help them, but it helps the living cope.

Same, lost my little sister before she was born. We would leave angel statues, flowers and such on her grave, but had to stop as people were stealing and destroying the stuff we set out for her. The world really is a messed up place when you can't even leave stuff for the dead because of what others may do.

My grandmother did this once, then destroyed the flowers when she decided she didn't like them afterall. When I found out, I was so disappointed and haven't spoken to her since. She still doesn't know why it was wrong despite others in our family telling her.

They were giving her issues, so she got frustrated and threw them. I then had to clean up stolen flowers and dirt. I felt guilty, even if I wasn't the one who stole them

The day my daughter was buried every artificial wreath that was put there ( abought 200 )was stolen, that was down to the one I specially maid for her!! Hart breaking, we lost everything including our daughter due to a housefire 18 days before Christmas !! I have this issue too, everytime I decorate my baby boys grave within a week everything is gone. I have told the people who work at the cemetery what’s going on and all they tell me is sorry but there’s nothing we can do. It breaks my heart that people would steal from a babys grave. I remember when the town council from where my father is buried voted to remove all items that weren't flowers or flags. I guess they did not like the look of the graveyard... I guess it looked to unorganized for them. They took it all to the dump too didn't even send it to the owners. Flower pots, mini statues, pictures, even the toys off a grave next to my father's.
