Link is applying the principles in “Tiny Habits” - attaching a small positive behavior (deep breathing) to other actions that he does everyday (using the water dispenser on the fridge). Very smart!

I really like that Link has found the things that take an extra moment through the day. He utilizes these moments to take a deep calming breathe for relaxing. Love it!

Living in England, I have the opposite problem with the thermostat as we try to keep the house warm. My thermostat is set for 18C (64F) during the day and 15C (59F) at night. The kids are always complaining that they are too cold. But we have lots of snuggly blankets scattered everywhere

Solidarity! I live in Michigan in the states and in the winter we keep it at 15C at night and generally 18C during the day. Put on a warm sweater, a knit hat, drink some ginger tea, and always have slippers on, and yes be under a blanket if you’re sitting still-or, go outside then come back in and it feels downright toasty!!! Whether or not you’ve always done this I’m sure in Europe now it’s extra pragmatic now with energy costs like they are. Plus in England am I mistaken or is it generally not super dry air in the winter? That helps things not feel as chilly indoors.

Some of these scenarios made me remember my dad fondly and laugh. Several of these were things he did all the time like fall asleep on during a show and then rewind it and deny that he fell asleep.

Link has 150% the amount of children that Rhett has. Therefore, Rhett was correct that it is 50% more. When you start cutting it into fractions it gets tricky and I won't get into that, but I suppose technically Rhett has two-thirds of Link's amount of kids. Perhaps it just feels weird thinking about people as fractions.

Man, whenever people talk about setting the thermostat, I realize my family is weird. We set it to 80 in the summer when the house has to be cooled down. In the winter, when it needs to be heated up, we set it to 72 during the day, and 74-76 at night, depending how cold it is outside.

When i was really young, I would tell my dad I was thirsty. He would say, "hey thirsty, I'm Friday, come over Saturday and we'll have a Sunday." 🤦‍♀️😅

Temperature for the thermostat is such an essential this for people with MS. 72 literally causes my body to stop working, legs not work and I physically feel sick because my body cannot regulate body temperature. This is such a touchy subject

My dad used to clearly fall asleep watching the TV to the point where he was snoring. But as soon as I grabbed the remote and changed the channel he'd wake up and go "I was watching that!". Miss you old man.
