Love it! Amazing work as usual :) I was wondering if I could be so rude and ask if you could do a video on your texturing/shading process, it always looks so incredibly nice yet you only use Zbrush+Photoshop to achieve those different materials in your renders.

@@grassetti How do you achieve such great IOR and realistic reflections/light for leather/cloth/skin etc?? Do you tweak the values yourself or use charts to find the best values? It's been kind of a guessing game for me. Also, do you import textures into Substance Painter and Bake from there, or do you use any other programs to create textures? And what is your biggest inspiration for creating textures - like the skin material you made for the Ninja Turtles, was that mostly sculpting the detail, or did you use shaders/alphas to do some of that - How do you come up with stuff like that? Super impressive - Thanks for all the awesome influence on us little guys! You are a huge help

@@Gatz3D I've been doing this long enough that I know the gloss values and IOR of materials (IOR one is easier, most materials work with 1.2) I do most of my textures for personal projects inside of zbrush just because i can have a more destructive workflow without needing to make lots of changes. I do use substance for professional projects. Alphas for details.. yes, a mix of that with hand-sculpted details. Thanks!

To reflect harmful uv rays from nearby stars. No atmosphere to disperse the uv rays in space.

@@closet7401 well, the colour of the visors are blue meaning they don't have the correct material in the glass to serve that purpose. real astronaut helmets are actually lined with gold which is the correct material for this purpose. however, the lack of a yellowish shine means there is no form of gold to do so. there are one-way glass sunglasses that do protect your eyes from UV rays but in space, as you said, there is no atmosphere to protect you. they also could just put proper UV protection in the windows which would still work. I mean, this is probably in the future or something so there could be some other solution but idk.

8:24 minutes well spent. If anyone can give a quick tip on how that high poly Zbrush model was imported into 3ds Max, that would be great. Just wanted to know if that was remeshed/ decimated and imported or directly imported as high poly. I've always had issues high poly to low poly workflow. Be it Zbrush-> Maya or Zbrush -> Unity or Zbrush -> Substance. Always felt there's something wrong in what I'm doing with zremesher and/or decimation and what not. Anyways, thanks for being awesome :D
