Leroy in the beginning wanted to believe that there was this master somewhere in NYC who would take him to reach the final level, when he unknowingly had the power within him all along. Go back to what his sensei said to him: “ A cycle is complete and now there is a new emptiness to be filled”- ( An emptiness Leroy would have to fulfill without the guidance of his teacher). His teacher wasn’t abandoning him entirely, but more so showing him that you can be as great of a fighter when you place aside all doubt and fear and believe in yourself that..... you are the master.

Because Bruce Leeroy was taking martial art philosophy so seriously. That's relatable, I was one of them until I found that some things in life cant take it harsh, just enjoy it and take it lightly at times.

Great movie. One of the best villains of all time. This was Taimaks(Leroys) first ever film and had never acted before but is a real martial artist. Julius(Sho) was an actor who didn't know martial arts..lol Check out Daetrix- Rise of the Last Dragon..hes created a series of animated shorts that continue the story. Even have a trailer of a Last Dragon fighting game they're working on with characters from the movie..some cool stuff to watch for any fans of the movie!
