Who doesn’t love watching giant robots smash into giant monsters and beat the crap out of each other? Yeah, the beauty of Pacific Rim is really in that simple concept. And today, well we’re gonna take a look at all these giant robots - from Pacific Rim, Pacific Rim Uprising, and Pacific Rim The Black - and try and find out which jaeger is really the best kaiju-killing machine. Which jaeger is truly the most powerful? Well lets get into it!

Honestly the new gen jaegers look *too* human. I love the old gen jaegers because they look so different and have a specific purpose. Take Cherno Alpha for example. He has a giant bucket looking thing on top which is his reactor. This reactor could also work as a false head as well as protection for the conn pod.

Mark 1 jaegers looked weird because they were the first ones and i dont think it was realistic(in pacific rim context)to make super humanoid jaegers at the start,there is some kind of evolution with em like look at brawler yukon he looks hell weird all the mark 1 (exept horizon brave that was made using cherno as inspiration and same for coyote tango that used tacit ronin thats why he looks more humanoid than the rest of the mark1) were made using brawler as inspiration(no idea whats the name of the blue print thing lol)thats why they look humanoid in some way but at the same time they look goofy

Cherno alpha was too fucking cool. Bro had to get jumped by 2 tier 4 kaiju while having acid in his face in the water and only then did he finally go down. Bro was a unit

But because they were essentailly drowned and the pod was destroyed before anything else could happen. I wonder if Cherno had kept going, would it have eventually exploded destroying Hong Kong?

It's so cool you rendered all of these theoretical Jaeger's in both realistic and anime styles. It's a shame they never got released, the one Pacific Rim film, which had absolutely no spin off's or sequels, was fire!

The Jegars are freaking awesome at killing Kaiju. I'm positive they can handle at least some of the ToHo kaiju in the showa, Heisei and maybe millennium Kaiju. Monsterverse Kaiju yeah that's another story. Also do some Gamera ranking it's been a while since he gotten some attention

The yeagers are cool and all, but the weight difference is too much. The heaviest kaiju in Pacific Rim is only like 7k tons. Even the smallest TOHO monsters are almost 4x that weight.

@@Grezilla95isn’t it because with the same amount of strength, the material with a higher resilience tends to be lighter needed for construction? As in the metal jaegers vs the meat Kaiju? Also, I think Kaiju in pacific rim were made canonically lighter cuz they are some alien super lightweight organic material.

I think that cherno is best in combat and mele it is said each punch could quake the surrounded area and a quick heads up if the devs of Pacific rim scroll and see this you should have put big metal spikes so that each punch would be devastating

@@somedude2150because uprising jeagers were build to stop or fight another rouge jeagers they belived kaiju won't return and some bad guys using jeagers parts to build their own jeagers so that's the reason why they build the most lightweight and agile jeagers to act fast

Obsidian Fury with human pilots would give Apex a run. The Kaiju pilot in Obsidian was relentless, yes, but it was unable to form any feasible battle tactics and only went for an all out attack. Apex would still win due to his experience, but I think it would be a good fight.

See now I’m confused about crimson typhoon. Because I commented in another video asking if crimson was an offensive Jeager because of the thundercloud formation. And someone told me that crimson was a defensive Jeager. But now this guy is saying crimson was used for its speed and mobility which for some reason makes me think it’s an offensive Jeager. So can someone confirm with me if crimson is an offensive or defensive Jeager please? I’m really confused here

It is stated nowhere whether it is a defensive or offensive jager but it is clearly designed to strike and remain on the offensive rather then take a hit Main way it defended from hits was deflecting attacks to open up for a return strike rather then actually tank it and that tells me it leans in the offensive category

I don’t think they series is Cannon to the actual Pacific room story so I don’t believe that that is the most powerful in the actual fully pacific rim kind of thing, but either way add to not think that it could be obsidian, fury, or the mega kaiju, and I do not think that it could beat gypsy danger or gypsy avenger but that’s just my thoughts
