Datsun visvang datsun. RB is a holden engine not nissan. Was designed in Australia and manufactured in japan.

"Show me a car that ran a 15 in 1976" Well there was the Can Am oooohhh wait it was faster than 15 seconds so I guess it doesn't count. Capri Peranna ohh it did 14 seconds. Mmmmm Chev SS was 15 seconds. So I guess there were quite a few

...the cars you mention were a very tiny, and very select, group of production cars anywhere in the world at the time that were able to run post those figures.

@@speedandsoundmagazine True yes as standard cars that came from the manufacturing plants there were not many. But like your clip that you posted the cars is not standard but heavily modified with new upgraded engines and turbos. In the 70's there were quite a few that could easily beat a 15 second quarter mile that were also modified. I take the Willy Hepburn cars for example. We still have a 79 chev Senator that can easily run a 12 second quarter mile with a modified V8 in it. Please note the car mentioned do not run on NOS or turbos. I know about a few Renault Gordini cars that also did a 15 second quarter mile with modifications done to it and a few other cars

Shame really, new gen engine's come on man you sound like a bunch of chickens. Take old knowledge and make it run fast. On that same track my 1982 senator with 93 octane carburetor engine ran a 11.94. Shame man don't let ma laugh at your guys. 13 sec in the 70s was fokkol for a old tech engine. Julle is babbas.
