Young hungry Skepta is unmatched, his Blacklisted album is one of his best and you can really tell he was so hungry for fame and to make his music work. Few mentions of Lord of the Mics in this video which was hosted in Jammer's basement who was a member of BBK Boy Better Know, Skepta's collective group of friends and artists including his brother JME, Frisco, Shorty, Maximum who is the white DJ from Skepta and JME's song That's not me. Ghetts and Skepta had beef early on in their careers as mentioned on Freedom of Speech from Ghetts dissing BBK and Skepta. Ghetts is a real OG in the scene alongside people like Kano, D Double E, Dizzie Rascal, Wiley (who arguable created the Grime genre with his unique sounds used on tracks referred to as the 'Eski Sound') P Money, Monkstar, Chip, Wretch.. honestly the list could go on. Rough Sqwad and Newham Generals were both good grime collectives too, the former primarily working on tracks and producing while newham Generals is made up of D Double E and his partner in Grime, Footsy who produces and creates his own beats too. Just sharing some more info being a fan and a bit of a nerd about it. Love from Wales
