I kinda agree with you except on this later years: Women's 2020 *SHOULD* have been Shayna Baszler. Vince screwed her at the royal rumble, then at Wrestlemania and look what happended to her. She was a beast in NXT now she can't win a single match. No Shayna should have won the Money in the bank 2020. I also think that Damian Priest was the right choice for 2023, but the rest i agree with you

Mustapha Ali was actually slated to win that 19’ match. He only found out moments before he went through the curtain. Absolute props to him for being a true professional and hiding what had to be an incredible amount of disdain for that decision. Poor Mustapha had two different terrible instances of luck. Glad to see his success in TNA

@@khesipresents1885 did you read my comment? Ali was slated to win. That means consistent television nearly every week. Guaranteed storylines and more money more exposure more everything. To have that taken away mere mins before you walk out the curtain to someone who isn’t even in the match is a freaking kick in the nuts. Ali was screwed out of that opportunity to potentially change his career going forward. That’s what makes him special

I'm a huge LA Knight fanboy. Having said that, I think Damian needed the briefcase. After losing the US championship, he sort of got lost in the Judgement Day, kinda lost his individual identity. The briefcase really helped him gain that and have something to chew on, and admittedly, not only did he chew, he ate. I'd have loved for LA to have the contract, but I still stand by the fact that Damian was the best choice

The Money in the Bank cast is so much better this year, last year you had people that really had no chance at it, Escobar, Nakamura, Pete Dunne, Ricochet. This year every single one of the 6 makes sense. LA Knight, Andrade, Jey Uso, Chad Gable, Carmelo and probably Drew. Good to see WWE take this things seriously.

Andrade and Carmelo winning? unlikely and don't have a case. Chad Gable is barred from going after the IC title and I don't see him being even further vaulted when he hasn't won anything yet. Bc if Chad wins this, he'd "have" to go after one of the 2 big titles and he's just not there rn. Jey Uso is fine but he just had a world title shot. If Jey wins, he'd basically be repeating deja vu. I think it should be LA Knight who should've won it last year. If Drew is in the match, I could see possibly CM Punk costing him again (for "taking his spot" since he's known for the MITB, etc). My only issue would be Knight would honestly have to go after the US title since that makes the most sense of where he's at rn, but whatever.

@@apecentury228 I don´t think Andrade or Carmelo are gonna win but they have the potential to be world title contenders, both of em, wich is a lot more than we can say of people like Pete Dunne or Nakamura. Re Gable, he´s one of the biggest stars in WWE right now, to me he´s the best choice, this is the perfect mechanism to elevate him to the next level because he is the whole package. The older Alpha was holding him back, the new Alpha is gonna be the difference maker. Like i said, this card is a lot better than last year´s, sadly is probably Jey who´s going to win, wich i don´t like but understand.

From Smackdown you have LA, Carmelo and Andrade, from Raw you have Jey, Gable and probably Drew. I´m confident is gonna go to Raw but lets see.

Only thing I wouldn’t agree is baron about having changed as winner. The man had creative and locker room behind him, they was building up a feud where he would cash in on and jinder and then face other main eventers on smack down. Granted this all went downhill and out the drain since he had disagreement with the doctors information about injuries and Vince said fire baron. They talked Vince out of firing to just losing MITB and pulling the plug on him being world champion

Surprised by how compatible our opinions for most years are (especially with KO in 2017 and Sami in 2022). I thought the best choice for 2018 would have been The Miz (he was extremely popular with many fans after that IC title run), but the way things ended up with Bryan's heel turn and Kofimania, I wouldn't want to erase anything.

Same scenario now, tbh. Cody isn't dropping that belt until RR at the earliest, if not next year's WM, most likely. Gunther is getting a long ass reign with the belt come SummerSlam, probably as long as Cody's. Whoever wins it either has to cash in same night as Seth v Priest or they're holding that shit until WM, if not longer.

Riddle himself said that up until a week before the match, Vince was going to have him win the briefcase. Overall, him winning would've been a poor decision because of his backstage heat and outside issues.

People say Jeff Hardy and I love Jeff Hardy. But when would it be the right time for him to cash it in. When Cena got injured, then we miss out on the "Age of Orton" where Randy went on that amazing 1st WWE Title run. Plus we miss out on Jeff Hardy chase against Triple H in 2008. I believe Randy Orton should of won and when Cena got hurt, him being rewarding the title make sense

LA Knight was definitely not the best choice with him being on smackdown he would’ve gone after Roman and the undisputed title which would’ve messed up the Cody finishing the story thing and having him go to raw wouldn’t have made any sense whatsoever Damian, ricochet, or shinsuke were the only good options tbh could argue for logan but I doubt they’d put the world title on him this early in his career

In my opinion, you can't use hindsight to determine the money in the bank because in hindsight a lot of the winners make sense even the bad ones. Example, Brock Lesnar winning in 2019 makes the sense especially if he had cashed in on Kofi inside of the 8 seconds. Although it makes sense it still wouldn't make Brock a good Money in the Bank.

I strongly disagree with WM 24. It should have been Chris Jericho, the one who created the stipulation and the one who soon became the top heel of the company. Chris Jericho was the only correct option.
