Dearden 5 tries for the season, Mam 6 tries for the season. Dearden 3 try assists, Mam 8 try assists. Dearden 83.9% Tackle efficiency with 233 tackles made, Mam 76.9% Tackle efficiency with 150 tackles made. Missed tackles, Ezra Mam 45, Tom Dearden 28 Dearden pairs well with Holmes too. It's a no brainer.

Dearden’s already excelled at that level, Mam can’t defend, he just runs, Tommy is one of the best defensive half’s in the game and strong attack aswell, he’s the best 6 in the game

I would pick Dearden over Mam but I would absolutely love to have Mam on the team just dont know who I would take out for him. Everyone who played last year definitely earned their spot again this year.

Dearden should partner DCE. He is also a better defender that Mam. Origins are also won on defence..

Whoever gets selected for qld will do a job. Dearden filled that position and had the very best game. Being a broncos supporter, i think esra would be the same, but proven record carries more weight. He has been a standout for the cowboys as well this season whether that carries anything this year so far..... much better people are there to select qld team. Im not going to offer my suggestions as there is also a dark horse in walker as well.

I'd put my faith in Tom than Ezra. He has a higher work rate and defensively is the best 5/8. I'm a Broncos fan, but I'm Queensland first and I think Dearden should get it.
