It’s a little more complicated than that. The assassins were members of the league of assassins and they were sent my Ra’s to further their training. Bruce didn’t want to get caught up in that. Bruce doesn’t meet Ra’s until later on.

@Zurrenarr455 ай бұрын
@@Almessa-iv2cm the addition of Ra’s as one of his teachers is a new thing in the comics. He trained with the best and some of them were members of the league of assassins, but traditionally he didn’t meet Ra’s until after Dick Grayson was in college. In the Knight story, Ra’s is the final teacher he studies with, but he is able to keep up with Ra’s in their first sparring match. Kirigi has always been one of Bruce’s primary mentors. He also studied with the masters in Nanda Parbat and learned some aspects of mysticism including how to heal himself faster through a meditative trance. Bruce is actually better trained than Ra’s. And through Bruce so are the extended bat family. Bruce routinely man handles Ra’s to the point where Ra’s calls off his ninja’s and refuses to fight because there is no point. Tim Drake has bested Ra’s on a few occasions as well. The current run of Batman Off World tells the story of Bruce in his second year after the formation of the justice league goes into space to learn combat from several alien worlds. He outclasses Ra’s.

Writers always try to do something wacky. Life is full of wholesome people you never see again, they don’t need to become super villains to have an impact.
@mentalist77725 ай бұрын
In his original appearance in the comics Kirigi wanted Brice to stay after he finished his training to unlearn violence and gain peace, Bruce actually considered this until Kirigi stated that he believed it woukd take 20 years to do so. Another aspect is that Kirigi would take any students who passed his initiation tests, this included the members of the League of Shadows. Kirigi would also teach them phylosophy with a focus of peace, patience and self control. Hkwever Kirigi did not believe he had the right to pass moral judgments on his students so all he would do is teach and leave the choice to them. Another big deal is that Ra's Al Ghul refers to Kirigi as the 'Sensei'. This is a big deal because when he refers to someone by their skill or job it is the highest compliment he can give such as how he calls batman the 'Detective'.

I remember Bruce showing up in a Clark Kent graphic novel. This was during the time Clark was traveling around the world trying to find himself. He'd met an Asian woman who assassins had attacked in Paris, and he accompanied her home to a tiny country on the southern border with China. The girl's father was both the country's secular and religious leader, so naturally the old guy lived in a temple at the top of a mountain, and one had to climb a huge set of stairs to reach the temple. On the way up, he and the girl encountered a man going down. They didn't exchange any words. You could tell that this was Bruce because his shadow was that of Batman. In fact, upon reaching the temple and being introduced to the girl's father, the father mention that the man who'd just left was a former student of his who had just saved him from assassins sent by the Chinese government.
