I just grab my morning weather. I have two dogs, a garden and quail. I care for my 87 year old best dad ever!❤ God makes this better because he has given it all to me!!! Andrea, thank you so much for posting this! I have not watched tv for 2 years. I have stopped watching some of my favorite you tubers, and I mean ones that I have watched for years, because they have turned their channels to nothing but fear, and they claim to be Christians. We can't worry and live in fear, and trust our Lord at the same time. It's impossible. And yes ma'am, we KNOW how the book ends!

So totally agree with you Andrea. We are busy feeding ourselves and our family. We are continuing our lives as best we can and shut the news off after a few minutes. I know people our age (I am 74 and my hubby is 75) that do nothing but sit in front of the TV watching the 24 hour news cycle and they are scared to death. I am not saying we don't know what is going on in the world, we do, we read a lot, however, our lives don't revolve around the 24 hour news cycle. We keep moving b/c we like it that way. We get together with family and attend church functions as well as worship on Sunday mornings. God did not give us a spirit of fear. He did however give us a great sense of right and wrong, good and evil, and a passion for working our little homestead to feed our family and our kids families. We love our lives and yes, times are tough sometimes, but I grew up in an age where we thought the atomic bomb was going to take us out any minute when we were 6 years old. We have always lived with some sort of tension going on in the world and we have dealt the best we can with it. My husband was a helicopter pilot in Vietnam. I feared I may never see him again when he got on that plane. Thankfully and by the Grace of God and a lot of prayer, he came home and we raised a family just the way my Dad and Mom did after WWII. We don't live in fear every minute. We pay attention, but we don't fear it. Thankful for parents and grandparents that taught us how to plant a garden, can, keep a clean home, cook from scratch, butcher the meat we raise ourselves and we are still doing it. Keeps us busy and productive. God is good!

The bible says not to be afraid more times than it says to love, and God is big on love. Fear gets us so stuck and steals all the joy from our lives. We are to pray without ceasing. We are to cast our cares on him for he cares for us. We are not supposed to worry. It is easy to be afraid but it does not benefit us in any way. I am at peace in the garden watering my fruit trees and flowers. I love watching my chickens and breathing fresh air. I love the sunshine and find peace in the garden. Our property is small not big like yours. There is always hope to be found if you look for it, no matter where you live. I can find something to be thankful for everyday. We are so loved by God. God bless you too.

I know God tells us not to prepare what we're going to say but to let Him speak through us. He did today and it just confirms its not me talking to myself but His word alive in our lives! ❤

Andrea I was just having my morning coffee and everything you said resonates with me. I love how you just talk to the camera and share your thoughts. I did exactly what you have suggested years ago, I stopped watching the news and journalists and constant bombardments of doom and gloom. I was chatting with an Aunt of mine who live up north and she’s always watching news about who was shot and who was stabbed in the city where I live and while those things do happen it’s such an incredibly low percentage but because of the media she thinks it’s sooo dangerous to be living in the city right now. I explained that while those things can happen usually it’s in the middle of the night when I’m fast asleep. I don’t go out late at night and I keep to main areas where others are and I still feel safe. But from her perspective every second person is being shot at or stabbed. It’s a terrible representation of the city and there is never any good news. So I explain that within my own building there is a sense of community and everyone would help one another. I prefer to put my focus on people that are good and honest and true and have a similar belief system that I have. I find when I focus on people like that I’m much happier. In 1954 my mother left my father and ran away from him. We ended up buying the land/farm on the very top of Joy Mtn. The Campbell family, an old man and his wife, owned the land half the way up the Mtn next to Hwy 36 where we turned off the 36 to ride a long windy road to our house, sorta at the top of the dirt road we passed the house of a family named Duffel lived and s short distance past there was a gate to top farm land my mom purchased. At the beginning of going up Joy Mtn on 36 to left if coming from Searcy a Wallace Family lived up on the hill on hthe hill off a dirt road. You follow that dirt road and pass Mr Cowens house and are on his land. He owned the side of Joy Mtn all the way to the top where our started and his land sorta surrounded our farm. From the Campbell house to Joy, a cross road, there was a store only in Joy on right if driving from Searcy. On left from store was a dirt road where many people I knew as a kid lived on their farms. Some of their land had to be adjacent to my farm. I went to Rosebud Public school in ‘54-‘55 so I road the school bus right buy where your farm is now in that school year. My mother transferred me to Searcy Public Schools for the rest of our, My two brothers and me for the rest of my school years. Our farm was on the edge of the counties of White where Searcy is and whatever county Joy and Rosebud are in. She was a registered nurse working for Dr Rodgers at his hospital in Searcy. I always wondered if she influenced some one to say our farm was in White county. Anyway we lived in one of those old small farm board farm houses that did not have 2X4 studs in the walls, just boards nailed to the frame with wall paper on inside for insulation, we had no indoor plumbing, used an outhouse, drew water from a deep well and cooked on an old wood stove and heated with a potbelly wood stove. We did not have electricity for the first few years. My brother and I laid on floor in front of TV we brought from California and made faces into the reflection bounced back at us from the screen. 😊 air condition was a trip to one of the various creeks. So nothing you are concerned about in this video really phases me. I did not tell you about working on the farm in the cotton fields, or potato field or the three different kitchen gardens or chasing down the milk cows every day and about how much firewood my brothers and I had to gather constantly. I watch you working your farm right up the road from where I grew up and think you are working way too hard. All the best.

Then I stopped with the news, although I do pop in once and a while to keep current to a point. I love enjoying my family and friends. Really good video Andrea. I was always a news addict but in Nov of 2020 I stopped watching and everything changed for me. Since that time I have received my news from reliable sources and I am now very much an optimist. In the bible God commands us at least 350 times to FEAR NOT. I do this life one day at a time with God by my side. Lots of love from here in Canada.

Thank you for voicing what needs to be said! I follow several families that I've decided are not worth following because of their decisions to try and put fear into those who follow them!! Their political opinions have changed their channels and it's so sickening!! We all have an opinion but I watch channels to learn how others garden and raise animals to feed themselves not to be preached to by someone who thinks they know it all!!

The Bible says that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of power, love and a sound mind. I see all of the things going on. I read what the WEF says what they’re going to do to us. I hear what the preppers say. I listen to what God says. We should have preparations but continue to do what we need to do. Too many followers of Christ have rapture rapture rapture on their brains and are not taking care of their families by not preparing. No man knows the day or hour of Christs return.
