Do you feel Season 1 was faithful to the games/lore? From what we here that was most peoples complaint about the show.

​​@@ObRefOfficialAlthough the question wasn't directed at me, it does and it doesn't. It's a different timeline, with a different team, so obviously it wouldn't be 1-to-1 with the established lore. Some references are directly there (like John being lucky, and how Halsey realised this using the coin), while other things are different (Halsey choosing to wipe their memories and remove their emotions in this version, and choosing not to in the original story). About the music; it was used in the 1st season for the big reveals. It was only two times, but it was used. The fact that it was used here during the trailer and after the trailer and you guys completely ignoring that shows your bias. Ironically, the people complaining that it isn't correct to the lore, are the same people complaining that Chief removes his helmet, which is actually cannon to the lore. Halo lore extends beyond just the games; in the books, Chief removes his helmet and even his armour often enough times that it's not strange. Most Halo fans aren't die-hard fans and don't even know the books exist. You can't say you want it to be lore-accurate, and then upset that he removes his helmet, which is lore-accurate. Contradicting yourself, and showing you know nothing about Halo, other than what casual fans know. You're all speaking from the casual fan perspective, when in fact, MOST people who watched this show know next-to nothing about Halo. They know less than you do, and according to the user ratings, most people seemed to enjoy it. And lastly, you can't complain that "we can get this in the game", then complain that the show tried to do more than the games, by trying to show the trauma the Spartans have to deal with, or the ethical parts about what the UNSC did for the Spartan program, when the game barely touches on this. I'm done.

Yes because as fans you aren't owed anything, they are not obligated to cater to your requests. Plus you guys need to realize that changes are inevitable when trying to adapt a video game into a live action series. You have to create a show that is not only for halo fans but also first time viewers that know nothing about the franchise. @@ObRefOfficial

We dont care if this is before, during, or after the games, our complaints stem from a poor execution of a hollow concept.
